If you haven’t been to Bloomington’s Cheddar’s lately, you need. I had a fantastic experience today. Cheddar’s is normally a reliably consistent place, but today’s meal was “off the hook” I believe the hip crowd says. Angie, our server was on top of everything and the steaks were cooked perfectly the first time. Thank you Cheddar’s for setting the standard for what a great dining experience should be.

Everything was delicious. Not 1 thing tasted bad/bland/cold. It’s literally perfect. I recommend fries, mashed potatoes, broccoli casserole, steak, new orleans pasta, Buffalo wraps (not spicy though) Alfredo, cheddar bites. The patron Margarita didn’t have a strong alcohol taste which is a thumbs down for me. It tasted more like a kiddie cocktail so if you’re into that. But still incredible value.

Outstanding. Sat down to a waitress taking our drink order immediately. Had our drinks in 3 minutes and our food in 15. The cool fish tanks and atmosphere was very conducive to conversation and an enjoyable evening. We were there just before closing and it was as good an experience and the food spectacular. The double chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans was something I’m definitely going back for. Huge portions!! Thanks for a great experience!!

I use a wheelchair. The staff at this restaurant were accommodating, yet not ableist. They perceived my needs seamlessly and nearly invisibly. Example: removing a chair from a table before I even got to the seating area. The waitress (sorry, can’t remember her name) treated me like any other customer, which put my girlfriend and me both at ease. She was personable yet unintrusive while taking our order; making suggestions and answering questions about menu items without having to look at the menu. The ambience of the restaurant was great, too. There was a lot of natural wood and stone, yet well lit and decorated in a very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing manner. I wish my home looked like this!

Walked past more than a dozen tables outside on a nice afternoon after passing through a 60% full lot. Saw a lot of people waiting inside, and was further confused when we saw a whole portion of the restaurant full of another 10+ empty tables. The hostess told us it would be 30+ minutes wait so we left.

Cannot say enough good things about this restuarant. It’s clean, affordable & the food was great! Best of all was the service, we had an outstanding waiter Dylan who made sure to communicate severe food allergies to the kitchen to ensure the meal my family picked was safe. He was fast, friendly & hands down the best server I’ve ever had. Cheddar Scratch Kitchen whatever you are paying this young man double it!! He more than deserves it!

The burgers are good, and so are the onion rings and onion strings. However, I was told they no longer offer onion rings or onion strings. The chicken fingers were a bit hard. The broccoli was great. Outdoor seating was a nice option for a good weather day.

Service was great, we had a great server, but the food was a solid 2/10. With those prices, the food should be amazing and they were quite the opposite. Food was over cooked, soggy and just so overpriced. My partner and I, spent around $50 including tip and days later was charged over $100…. We called the restaurant and was led on a wild goose chase to figure out why it happened with the result being “just wait a couple days for the charge to resolve”. Will not be returning for quite some time.
