I ordered the chicken and shrimp, and unfortunately both were overcooked the first time around. The shrimp was a bit tough, and the chicken was dry. However, I do want to point out that the manager handled the situation professionally — they came to my table, listened to my concerns, and had the kitchen remake the dish. I appreciated the effort and the customer service.

The second plate was an improvement, but still not quite where it should be. Overall, the service stood out more than the food this visit. I’m hoping next time the meal matches the level of hospitality, because the staff definitely tried to make things right.

Thoroughly enjoyed everything about the restaurant. Food was delicious, staffs hospitality and their service was excellent and cleanliness, taste and items selection was great including the price. I personally had ordered chicken fry and shrimp beer batter fry, it was a great choice. We enjoyed our time and enjoyed our meals there. 4 stars is high bar for my rating so don’t worry, between 4-5 to me is there is always a room for restaurants to improve in any area and I’m sure Cheddar’s is always striving to offer best to its loyal customers. Regardless, everything was great.

From the moment we hit the door it was amazing our waitress Katie was amazing. She was engaged with us and for our first time here she was a breath of fresh air. Then the manager Amanda was a great aspect of this location. She came by the table to introduce herself and was polite and engaged with her guest as well. Me and husband wish one was in Virginia where we from. Great job and keep it up. We will be back to visit.

Hostess came out to open the door for us giving us a friendly greeting. She asked if we wanted a booth or table and seated us immediately. We were there for an early lunch to avoid the main lunch crowd. The hostess also ended up being our server. That did not affect our service at all. We opted for lunch specials. My husband had the chicken pot pie and I had a grilled white fish. The options for mine was either blackened or with lemon pepper. I asked for no seasoning at all. I was pleasantly surprised to get the fish with no seasoning. My sides were Idaho mashed potatoes, white gravy on the side and baby carrots. My husband had a side salad with his. Coffee for him and unsweetened tea for me. The pace of the meal was perfect. The food tasted great. My potatoes and carrots were not quite as hot as I like them but the fish was hot. Hubbie’s pot pie was very good. The portion size was good for both of us. $9.99 for the pot pie and $10.99 for my fish. We had a relaxing lunch with the kind of service we enjoy. 1st time we had eaten there. We’ll definitely go back to try other menu options.

I recently visited Chadders Scratch Kitchen during the lunch hour and had a mixed experience. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Cheyenne, who was energetic, upbeat, and made me feel genuinely welcome. She kindly asked where I would prefer to sit and escorted me to an available table.

However, upon reaching the table, the server in that section, Madison, was noticeably unwelcoming. Rather than offering a polite explanation, she seemed to dismiss my presence and requested that I be seated elsewhere. As a solo diner, this interaction felt uncomfortable and unnecessarily exclusionary. I ultimately chose to sit in the bar area instead.

The server in the bar area was doing her best under what appeared to be a busy lunch rush, but it was clear she needed assistance — assistance that unfortunately never came. While she remained courteous, the overall service felt strained and under-supported.

On a positive note, the food was outstanding. My steak was cooked to perfection and exceeded expectations. The kitchen clearly takes pride in its offerings.

Not a great experience this time. The best part was the short wait to be seated. After that it was down hill. Server never brought us the croissant. Our food was left in the pass for a while. Once server realized we didnt have food she got it. It wasn’t fresh. Cold in spots on my pasta dish. That definitely says it sat for a while. The most we were checked on was towards end of the meal.

The food is okay. I got the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and broccoli casserole, and pretty much all of it was luke warm. Certainly not cold, but I like the food nice and hot. Again, it wasn’t bad; just could’ve been better. Oh, and the server was just kind of meh. Really wanted to be somewhere else, which I can understand. Having said all of this, when the mood hits, I’m sure we’ll go back.

This was a curbside pickup. Before I could check in as soon as I was pulling in before I could even put my car in park the host was at my window with my food. I felt a bit surprised because I could have been anyone and your already handing out the food. I was startled and had to ask is that for me ( stating my name). This was the worse New Orleans Pasta I had from Cheddar’s EVER!!! That is the only thing I get and I gravitated toward it for years now and I’ve never experienced such over cooked, dry pasta, half cooked sausage, with hardly any sauce. The best was not mixed in it was just thrown in with just a dash of sauce in the middle. I was dissatisfied and very disappointed. My thoughts are how do you mess up a pasta. I’m hoping this is resolved not sure if I’ll return.
