Very fun dinner with the moms group!!!I had the key west chicken and grilled shrimp over rice,salad,and green beans. At the start,the staff was very pleasant, and brought us these warm butter croissants. So good I would recommend them highly.

Went to Cheddar’s in Avon Indiana on my wife’s birthday. When we pulled up we wonder why the parking lot was empty, and we soon found out. As we were being seated at the first booth, we couldn’t sit down because of how dirty the booth was. The second and third booth were the same but we set together on one side at the third booth, because it was getting embarrassing. After the waitress took our drink order and brought out some croissant, my wife’s went to open her napkin to get her knife to cut the croissant, the knife had booger looking crust substance on both sides. After that we notice the walls of the booth were splashed with white substance that could’ve been anything. The floor was dirty, the table ziosk machine was disgusting and yes we cancelled our order and left. When leaving we were searching for our waitress only to walk to far into the kitchen to see a kitchen that shouldn’t be qualified or certified to feed people. Unfortunately I didn’t get pics of that!!!

The bourbon salmon and loaded mashed potatoes were very tasty! I also.had green beans which were good. Our server wasn’t very attentive. He never checked on us or refilled our drinks. It was the lunch rush, but it took almost 30 mins to get our food.

Dined in, wasn’t a pleasant experience. Greeter was awesome sat us at the table, was very pleasant. Customer service from waiter was non existent. No greeting just took order brought food and that was it. No refills or anything, if we needed anything we just went without. Didn’t ask if we needed to go containers or provided any other service. Any food we had left we just left it. I paid on the machine at the table and that was that. Food was excellent but customer service made the overall experience not good. Would I return? The jury is still out on that. (Updated 2/9/25) Decided to try it again after not coming for over a year. We was pleasantly surprised. Customer service was good. Food was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back.

Eating here was a disappointing experience today. We sat in the bar and the server took our drink and food order. A food runner brought us the croissants and no drinks for 15 minutes. I went and asked the hostess if she could get us our drinks. We ordered more croissants we never got. The manager brought our food and 20 minutes later we had to ask him for refills. My husband’s fries were left off the plate and the baked potato ordered was wrong and had to be remade. The table behind us and a couple at the bar were also vocalizing poor experiences so we weren’t alone in it. Our server never came back until we were leaving and said have a nice day.

Love this restaurant. Food is always good and affordable. I just wish they would bring back the apple pie a la mode. The cornmeal fried fish is so good. Salad and croissants are excellent. I enjoy the green beans and broccoli cheddar casserole too. My kids love the pasta and my husband always gets a hamburger.

I ordered the chicken fried steak. It was mostly breading. The coleslaw had no flavor. My husband ordered a ribeye steak rare when he got it it was well done. The honey lime dressing for the salads had no lime flavor. We used to love this dressing not anymore. The best part of my meal was the sprite.
