This place has a ways to go to get it’s staff up to par but I won’t knock it too hard. Hostess staff is especially lackluster, seemed confused, didn’t know how to accommodate a booth request without asking multiple other staff members. Once we finally got seated though it was on par with other cheddars I’ve been to. Recommend going after 9pm to avoid the big crowds and long wait times

Went with friends for early supper. Very attentive service. Steak and ribs were very good. Chicken tenders were good but to much breading. Same for the fried shrimp, but worse. Get the grilled. Sides were good, but not outstanding. I’d probably go back if there’s no wait

We really wanted to love it because we love the location in Johnson City and this one is closer. The atmosphere is great! Loved the fish tank at the entrance. Our waitress was sweet but not very attentive. I’m sure she was very busy. The croissants were perfect as always and our appetizer was great! My fiance ordered the T-bone special- the salad was just sad and the steak was extremely overcooked and dry. I ordered the sirloin and shrimp combo. Shrimp was fantastic but the green beans were not edible and my steak was terribly undercooked. The waitress eventually came to check on us and noticed my untouched steak. She apologized and took it back to the kitchen. By the time it came back we were almost finished and the steak looked the same as when it left- bloody. I left it on the table and we paid our ticket.

We called ahead, and they said they weren’t busy. When we got there it was packed, less than 8 minutes after we called. The service was slow but friendly. They gave us an extra croissant (3 total), and then gave us some fried cheese we didn’t order. This would have been fantastic if it weren’t for the fact that I wasn’t very hungry. I even ordered from the kids menu. We confirmed that we hadn’t ordered it and they said it was fine. So we got a to-go box for the cheese. Everything on my plate was fine. As I said, I wasn’t very hungry, so I got the kids plate of baked chicken and rice and a baked potato. It was pretty good, the chicken could have been more tender.

We joined the wait list online and our estimated wait time was 21-25 minutes. when we got there we checked in with the host who told us that it would be about 10 more minutes, no problem. 3 minutes later we were being seated. Our waitress was Michelle and she was just wonderful. She was kind and very observant. Our food came quick and everything tasted wonderful. The bathrooms were clean. I was very impressed overall.
