First, it was so cold in this restaurant that we were all absolutely freezing. Next, we waited so long for our food that we became tired and we were all just ready to go by the time our food came. We were tired and annoyed from waiting for so long. The waitress was doing the best she could, being she was the only waitress for our large group. I had the pot pie and sweet carrots, the carrots were great, the pot pie, however, was not my favorite. Overall, this was not the experience I was looking for, being this was my first visit to Cheddar’s. Maybe I’ll try again someday.

Wasn’t super busy on the Saturday night I went. I was told I could sit at the bar. The bar itself was pretty full so I sat at a table in the bar. Waited over 15 minutes no one gave me a menu or took a drink order. Moved to a high top closer to the bar. We went in today and our waitress was less than kind, My boyfriend asked if they do anything for birthdays and she told us no. However proceeded to turn around with a couple other employees and celebrate someone’s birthday. We asked if we could get Honey butter croissants (the appetizer) to go and she brought us the ones you get on the table, when asking her where the honey was she then proceeded to say that they were right and that the cook must have made them different. However the other times we have been they have been a completely different thing. She was very rude and seemed disinterested in servicing us.

I can’t say enough about my experiences at this particular Cheddars. I’ve been to several, and this has consistently been the best. The food actually looks like the picture on the menu when it comes out of the kitchen!!! Where else does that happen? Service has never disappointed.

Lunch was great at Chaddar’s. Their side salad that came with my chicken pot pie (also delightful)was fresh and one of the best I have had eating out in Nashville. The chicken pot pie was great, and had to have a full chinken breast cut up in it.

Frank is one of the best waiter’s we have experienced, at any restaurant! He should honestly be in a 5 star restaurant with the service he provides. The restaurant in itself, did not seem to have their stuff together but he was helping everywhere and anyone he could. Our food was good and everything came out to us in a timely manner.
