This restaurant was my nephew’s choice for his birthday dinner. We walked in early on a Tuesday afternoon, and there were plenty of tables open. We sat in a big booth by the bar. My nephew recommended the cheese bites, which were so tasty. Loved their breading, it was light and crunchy. The honey butter croissants that the friendly waiter brought out at the beginning of the meal were pillowy and tasted decadent because of the delicious drizzled honey butter they were adorned with. We also ordered the Spinach Dip, which turned out to be my favorite dish. Not only was it super scrumptious and cheesy gooey, but also a great big heaping serving, which was more than enough for our table. I ordered a New Orleans-style pasta, which was bland and forgettable. However, those who ordered the country-fried chicken seemed to really be enjoying themselves. Another standout of this place is the Happy Hour prices, unheard of in these tariff times. All in all, I can see the reason this place is a family favorite for many.

I had the distinct pleasure of dining here, and wow… what an experience. If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to age in real time while waiting for your food, this is the perfect spot. I’m pretty sure I saw a server walk by fast enough to create a breeze—just not anywhere near my table.
When the food finally arrived (somewhere between “eventually” and “geological era”), it was impressively undercooked. Truly a bold choice. My entrée looked like it had merely been shown a picture of a stove and told to do its best.
On the bright side, if you enjoy guessing whether your meal is safe to eat, this place absolutely nails the suspense. Service: slow. Food: barely cooked. Entertainment value: surprisingly high—if you like unintentional comedy.

The food is amazing, we went in a group of 6 and the price was surprising affordable. The drinks are delicious and not overpriced. Our waiter Deghan was nothing short of wonderful, very attentive, and kind. The ambiance is nice and kid-friendly. Thank you for the exceptional food and service.

We had a great experience at Cheddar’s, ( 164 sw 88 st)and we would especially like to highlight our server, Richard. His service was outstanding—very professional, patient, and attentive. He took the time to explain the menu in detail and made excellent dish recommendations, which truly enhanced our dining experience.
The food was delicious, but what really stood out was Richard’s wonderful attitude and exceptional customer service. He was attentive at all times and made us feel very well taken care of. You can tell he genuinely cares about providing great service.
We will definitely be back and hope to be served by him again!

I’m extremely disappointed with our recent visit to Cheddar’s. Everyone at our table had issues with their food, and nothing tasted fresh. In fact, all of the food tasted old, like it had been sitting for a while before being served.
The croissants were especially concerning. They were hard and clearly not fresh. Even the honey butter would not melt on them, which made it obvious they were not warm and likely not recently prepared. Considering that the croissants are one of Cheddar’s signature items, that was very disappointing.
Several people in our party felt sick afterward, which made the situation even more upsetting. I am currently pregnant, so food quality and freshness are especially important to me.
I also sent my sweet tea back multiple times because it was unsweetened. Each time, it was returned incorrectly. After several attempts, it still was not right. That level of inattention was frustrating.
When we brought everything to the manager’s attention, the only resolution offered was 10% off the total ticket, despite multiple meals being problematic. A 10% discount did not reflect the overall poor quality of the food or the discomfort it caused.
We expected much better from a restaurant that promotes fresh, scratch-made food. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet even basic expectations for quality or service.

First time coming here. We were seated right away. We were greeted by our server Ora, who was very pleasant. The food was good. Nice atmosphere. We will definitely come back again.
The only reason we didn’t give five stars, was because of the manager. He came out several times seemingly checking on the table next to us. But didn’t say hello or inquire about how things were going with us. He just seemed to be selective about who he spoke to. Not good customer service.

This is my all time favorite restaurant for delicious comfort foods. I have eaten here multiple times and ordered different meals and no matter what I get it is ALL delicious. The frozen drinks are also very well made and made me feel like I was lounging on a cruise ship deck. I keep coming back here and if you ever visit you will see why. Not to mention this is also VERY economical. We are always surprised when the bill comes back and its always much less than expected. We always think something was forgotten or left off the bill, but it never is. Love that they do not price gouge here like at other restaurants.
