Fantastic food at fantastic prices. Where to start? First, the chicken tenders are so fresh and divine. They are a full meal all by themselves. Huge portions. The trio sampler was amazing. Tenders. A full 4 tenders plus queso fries with bacon. And a full sized fries serving. Add on the queso and chips. Wow. The pain killer was so yummy. And I have not mentioned the prices are so darn low and with the huge servings it makes for the best value meal of 2025.

Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen hit the spot! The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I had the blackened shrimp over rice with corn and mashed potatoes — the seasoning was perfect, and everything tasted homemade. My friend ordered the smothered chicken with mushrooms, broccoli, and mashed potatoes, and it was just as good — rich, hearty, and comforting.
The portions were generous (you definitely won’t leave hungry), and the prices are super fair for the amount and quality you get. Service was quick and friendly too, which made the whole experience even better.
Cheddar’s feels like that dependable spot you can count on when you want a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. Definitely one of my go-to casual dining spots in Jax.

Went to Cheddar’s this afternoon for lunch. Inside, it’s a nice-looking place. Modern, clean, and comfortable. Not overly fancy, but definitely well-kept.
My server was very friendly and talkative, which made for a pleasant experience right from the start. She brought out some warm croissants with honey butter, which were absolutely amazing.
For my meal, I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy, along with green beans and a baked potato. The chicken fried steak was cooked well, but the seasoning just wasn’t quite my taste. The baked potato was a little underwhelming, could have used more toppings; the sour cream was barely there. On the other hand, the green beans were excellent, cooked perfectly, still had a bit of snap, not mushy at all.
Overall, it was a good visit. I’d go back to try something else on the menu, those croissants alone are worth the stop.

I placed a carry-out order on 2/1 around 4:00 PM. When I received my order, I noticed that my drink was only filled about three-quarters of the cup, and my side of green beans was also only about three-quarters full. Taste of the food was good.

Dj and his Togo crew, and host were extremely rude. I sat on hold for 15 minutes and then was told i had to order over the phone. He also it was slammed and when i walked in there weren’t hardly any tables and only one car outside for Togo. Very trrribke customer service. DJ SUCKS AS A MANAGER! Really should look into getting new staff

2years later, service was still bad, service was a joke. Food was very bad. I’m sorry, we tried, when we tried to eat they brought us a fork that was nice but when you get steak and ribs, you like to have a knife well they don’t give out knives in that area because the demographics I guess so we had to request steak knives, which took another five or 10 minutes while our food was getting cold so they had to go find steak knives when we finally got steak knives then of course we had to ask for spoons for our soup. Well, they don’t have a lot of soup spoons I guess so lady from the kitchen that just washed them and didn’t have them wrapped in napkins actually brought us a single spoon. One spoon. I guess we had to share the spoon. I can’t believe that this restaurant doesn’t give you Cuttery like you’re you know supposed to have it most restaurants it was ridiculous. We took 30 minutes trying to get utensils to eat with besides that most of the drinks tasted like crap ( bitter) . We brought four people from work to try this but we told them it was terrible 2 years before so eat at your own risk, six entrees the only one that was good was the Monte Carlo but the fries came out cold. So most people that like places like this usually consume a lot of alcohol and don’t taste what they’re eating, just an observation after 30 years in the business…..

Food was really good. Love the bourbon sauce and the honey mustard used in some of the entrees or for dressing. Hubby said rice needs to be seasoned. Waitress was wonderful. Good prices. Of course honey butter croissants were on point!
