We were on our way home from vacation and wanted to stop somewhere we couldn’t get back home and stumbled upon this great place to get some great food along with excellent service that we received from one of the kindest person we meet Chancie was great. She interaction with our 8yr old was comical and a treat. She was busy but still gave us excellent service. I would definitely give them a try.

Food is great as always BUT what stuck out to me was the person that greeted us at the door with the biggest smile on his face completed with a high five My son worked at the branch located in Warner Robins and has a what some call a disability, as this young man does . I call it extra blessed ! After talking with the manager who was going around checking on each guest I found out this young man has been here 10 years after leaving Easter Seals and this speaks volumes to me about this chain. Not only to they give them work but they are front and center and frankly the most welcoming friendly face to see and it just made my day and warmed my heart ♥️ Cheddars keep doing what do, this choice not only makes the restaurant warmer but it changes lives 🙂

I really love visiting cheddars in Albany but yesterday’s service was horrible. My friend and I are both servers and we live about 45 minutes away. When we arrived to cheddars it was about 6:30-6:40. We sat on the side where the bartender was the server and he had about 1-2 guest at the bar and two-three other tables. It took him 30-40 minutes just to get our drink orders and another 15-20 before we got them after ordering. We put in an appetizer that came out around 7:40 and it was cold and not what we ordered. The manger was very nonchalant and made excuses instead of trying to actually fix the issue. I even stated to him that I came the week before and I had to wait 30 minutes before I got my drink then but my service ended up being better so it made up for it. After we sent the appetizer back for being wrong and COLD . He brought back the SAME old COLD appetizer which made me feel like he was insulating us. The server NEVER asked were we ready to order , were our drinks okay or anything. My friend had her baby with her and we had to order her food through the kiosk ourselves. This was the absolute WORST experience and it’s sad that we wasted almost two hours there on Sunday , drove almost an hour to eat after working all day ourselves just to leave with nothing . 0/10 experience I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

This Strawberry Daquriri was Soooo good…I believe that the strawberries was picked off the tree for my drink….the salad also was great ..everything was fresh ..lettuce onions carrots dressing even the tarter sauce

Everything from the server to my family’s food was great except one thing. The mashed potatoes were watery. I was looking forward to them with my platter of ribs, they had bacon bits and looked delicious but sorry they looked like imitation mashed potatoes. But other than that, everything else was excellent!

This is the 3rs time I’ve eaten at a Cheddar’s restaurant. Just like with the first two times at other locations, the atmosphere, cleanliness, and the friendliness and promptness of the staff were perfect.
However, this is the reason I didn’t give 5 stars, I felt like having a rare steak instead of medium rare. What I got, however, was closer to medium than a rare stake.
I’m not saying the steak was bad, it was delicious. But I ordered a rare stake, not a medium.
I would still recommend this location, and if we’re ever in the area, we might go back.
Just keep in mind that the cook on a Saturday afternoon doesn’t know the difference between a rare and medium stake.

I believe due to college graduation event cheddars was not prepared for the influx of people. Our wait was longer than 2hrs and we were misplaced or overlooked on the waiting list. However the waiter was awesome, patient, and attentive!!

Went in on Thursday 1/22 at 9:30, most of the restaurant already has chairs up and dining room looked closed, so we went to sit at the bar, was told the bar was closed, so we went to a table directly across from the bar, asked for a glass of wine and tea was told they were out of wine and tea, complete attitude from the start from the server/bartender, so we decided to take our money elsewhere. We called once we left to speak with the manager, he was very nice was informed they had both red wine and tea ♂️. We have got to get better at training employees on customer service, and if they do not have that skill, finding employees that do, that is the faces of your company.

I know it’s not our waiters fault, it’s the kitchen staff, but we ordered our appetizer and didn’t see any food for over 40 minutes (haven’t even ordered our main course yet) and then instead of our food coming out, we got offered bread. And we still haven’t even gotten asked about what we want to eat. Just in case you wanna say “it was probably busy” there were maybe 7 other cars in the parking lot TOTAL, when me and my wife pulled up and walked in.
Edit: just got appetizers like 2 minutes after I posted the initial review. Cheddar bites were lukewarm as well as the onion rings. Not even bothering to test my luck on the salmon, which is what I initially wanted.
