We dined today midday and it wasn’t too busy. It was a bit chilly/breezy so we are inside but it’s such a nice atmosphere it didn’t bother me. We started with the honey butter croissants which were very flaky and not too tender on the inside; the little bit of the inside was tender but much more were flaky.

Passing through town and decided to eat lunch here this is a beautiful newer restaurant. Was very busy on a Sunday afternoon but received a table very quickly service was fantastic fast attentive and friendly food came out very fast! The staff were friendly and the food was amazing. Wasn’t impressed with our server Michelle. Dishes weren’t cleared, and I felt like we’d were forgotten a lot of the time. Another server had to help us out. I do highly recommend the fudge sundae. It is to die for!

Super great find! We’re on vacation visiting New River Gorge, and stopped here for dinner. The food came super quick, and our server Trey was super helpful when taking our order and providing refills for our drinks. The food arrived pretty quickly, and the food and the sides were delicious. I ordered the grilled salmon, and it was really tender and tasted amazing. I had the broccoli cheese casserole and fries as my sides, and they exceeded my expectations. The fries were the perfect texture and the broccoli casserole was super unique and creamy. And let’s mention the ambience, which was super cozy with lots of cool decorations like fishes and a rotating machine in the ceiling that I don’t quite understand. Overall, 10/10 would recommend.

Our server here was absolutely fantastic! We had a very quick seating time, even with him being extremely busy. The food came out quick, hot, and tasted fresh. The bathrooms were nice and clean and the place seemed very well kept.

Expected somewhat of a frozen product but was hopeful given the name. I think what Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen actually stands for is Cheddar’s 86’d the kitchen… Blackened salmon was fine, not great not bad. Fries were obviously frozen which was a huge disappointment considering I only wanted to come here for what appeared to be fresh fries. They tasted old and were barely room temp, ate about three… The rice you see is all the rice I received; a hole was carved out for the salmon. The plate was delivered to the table as is, grease circles on the empty space included… I got a salad as a side before my dinner arrived, so not sure what left the grease circles. Salsa on the Key West chicken looked pale and sad, including canned pineapple… Not a good choice in a fresh salsa… Mashed potatoes and rice had no flavor. Calories per plate are out of control, including for the salads. Won’t be back.
