Checo’s Taco Shop surprised us with some seriously tasty bites. The surf and turf burrito was packed with flavor—perfectly grilled shrimp and steak wrapped in a warm tortilla. The shredded beef tacos were juicy and well-seasoned, definitely worth ordering again. While the food was top-notch, the interior could use a little upgrade to match the vibe of the Scottsdale area. Still, the staff was friendly, service was quick, and the prices were fair. Great spot for a casual bite if you’re craving solid Mexican food.

Amazing food. I was in Scottsdale for 4 days and my son and I ate here every day. We tried carnitas, Pollo asado, shredded beef and carne asada tacos and burritos. The frijoles and cheese burritos were also very good. Great sope too. Wish I was here longer so I could try more of the menu.

My cousin came here a few months ago while she was visiting and said it was good so I wanted to check it out too. Let me tell you, the food was sooooooo good. Did. It disappoint at all and lived up to the hype. The Checo’s burrito I had was delicious and very filling. Definitely gives my San Diego shops a run for their money!
