I love classic pancake houses. And Checkers here in the Schaumburg IL does not disappoint. First time here, and had a classic 2-eggs scrambled, hash browns and bacon. You can get this with toast, couple of pancakes or a crepe. I opted to upgrade to their premium 2-crepes with fresh strawberries. The crepes were superb. Probably a lot for one person, but I finished it all…lol! The place is very clean and shiny. Quiet around 8am on a weekend but people started pouring in close to 9am. If you order coffee, a server will replenish it regularly. Very nice/polite people working here. Service was regular and quick. Ample parking. Easy to get in and out. Highly recommended.

I recently visited checkers Pancake and had the most delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly service that made me feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, —ideal for a relaxing brunch.

Coming from Alabama to this location to visit family each time has been amazing. From the nice servers and good food will definitely be back in the next stop in.

The restaurant is in a good location and has plenty of parking. We arrived close to closing time but we were not going to take long so we came in and we were welcomed. We sat and right away we were offered coffee and water. The menu is made of paper and had a coffee stain so i wished they had something more clean.
Ordered omelets since it seemed like a good choice. The order came in fast and the food tasted good, not salty and I like that a lot, but a bit greasy. The salsa bottle on the table has salsa around so it was not cleaned and I wished it was. As for the service, I liked it, our server did come around and was wearing a face covering so I liked that she was careful.
The place is big and they do offer outdoor seating, at the time I got there, the area was closed because it was late but I liked that. They offer free parking and it is a big lot.
Perhaps we came in at the end of the day so maybe that’s the reason it was an OK experience. I did like their menu so perhaps next time it will be a better experience.

This is my go to breakfast place by far! I have been coming here for years but recently a lot more often and every time it’s great! The customer service is amazing as well as the atmosphere. My go too are definitely the nutella crepes or the country skillet. Their soups and pancakes are also amazing. 10/10 would recommend checkers!

My first time in and had a GREAT ham and cheese omelet with hash browns cooked exactly as I requested. My server, Daisy, was attractive and so friendly. When I was paying my check, I believe the owner(s) were at the counter and were genuinely grateful for my business.

We went for the first time on a Sunday morning. The place was packed. The service was great as well as the food. A long line was waiting to be seated so we left right after the meal to get a coffee and desert at a quieter place “sweet reserve” to pass some more time with our family.
