Food was delicious, ordered something extra at the window and they were super accommodating. Got all of the food for our family of 6 quick, it was fresh. Everything was hot and accurate, the server and manager were extremely pleasant and polite. Stopped here traveling through but will definitely remember this stop the next time we come through!

The food was pretty good. The fries and sandwiches were really delicious, but the mozzarella sticks don’t have much flavor. Out food was hot and freshly made. The people working there were very polite and did a great job. I’m also glad they are open late. This place is definitely above average for normal fast food. They are definitely 100% better than wendys down the road that serve expired food regularly.

I hadnt been to a checkers in over 15 years. I kept driving by the new store, then today i stopped in. I wanted something different and sat at the menu board for several minutes. The lady on the speaker ( Manager Katie )was very friendly. She had suggested that i may like the cheesy bacon clucker. Thank you Thank you Thank you, its to die for. I loved it. Not only that i had forgotten how good the fries wete. Omg. Katie was the nicest friendliest person. I now have a new favorite sandwich, and new favorite restaurant, and a new favorite restaurant manager. Thank you Katie.

First time using an AI drive thru. Food was pretty quick to be made, and even though the order was slightly incorrect the staff was super respectful and very quick to resolve any issues. Rare that I see these qualities in fast food. Also the fries are pretty good.

My kid and I love the Big Buford, it tastes amazing and the fries are my favorite. The food is always fast and prepared fresh. The staff members are always understanding and polite. We will definitely continue to eat there

I’ve always loved Checker’s/Rally’s food. I moved here to the Putnam County area back in 2012 and was hoping they would get one out here and they finally did. The food is still just as good as it was back then when I lived in Memphis, especially the seasoned fries! I couldn’t go when they had their Grand Opening because of the line being so long. Today, it was pretty much empty in the drive thru.
I like how they have the robot taking orders at the speaker while the workers inside do the other part to keep the process moving quicker. They really thought this through with Checker’s from the last time I’ve been to one which was in Memphis back in 2012 and once on my way from job training in Georgia back in 2018. I love this place and I love the food even more!
I’ll definitely have Checker’s on my list for fast food often now! I don’t have to wait until I go to Nashville anymore now. The workers at the window were very respectful and made sure that everything was right with our order before we got it and before we left.

Tried Checkers this evening. They weren’t busy or understaffed. We walked up and ate there at the sitting area.
Got the regular cheeseburger meal. $10.50 with fries and a drink with tax.
Yes I realize this is fast food – I get it.
Fries were decent, 7/10. Crispy and good flavor although a bit salty (and I like salty fries).
Burger:
-Appearance 4/10 (see pic)
-Flavor 6/10 (Wendy’s quality)
****Serious issue**** I was told AFTER I paid and went to pick up my drink that the machine was broken. I like my fountain drinks cold and a little watered (from the ice).
I Should have been told that BEFORE we ordered.
For the same money, I’d rather have a Chick-fil-A Spicy Chicken Deluxe meal.
Final judgement: Wendy’s quality, Chick-fil-A prices. If you go, have a coupon.
Checkers needs to fix this or it’s gonna be a real short stay.

I went to Checkers tonight because the food and service have been great at other locations. We ordered through the mobile app to save time. When I received my food, the service was nice, but when I went through my bag, I noticed we were missing a burger and that the bottom of the bag was covered in chili. Naturally, I went back through the drive-thru to get the missing food and have the fries remade.
The manager, I assume, wanted to argue with me and insisted that he packed the bag himself and that the burger and fries were both in there. I don’t know if he got the orders mixed up or what, but the bottom of the bag was soaked in chili — and that’s exactly how we received it. I don’t recommend going to this location. There are plenty of other places to eat in Cookeville!

Trying not to rate too harshly but I ordered a 5 piece wing on the lowest level of heat because my palette was still in recovery from too much spicy it may have been a mistake but they definitely gave me angry buffalo which completely blew my palette and I couldn’t even taste my shake or finish them so sad
