As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

I’ve been coming to this location here in Avon Park since 2014. The food has been served cold a few times but I have always let side with out a complaint . But tonight on 1-17-26 I just couldn’t let this kind of behavior towards a customer go!!!! Over ordering a plain BUN …. I have never had a problem before when asking if I could have a plain bun instead of a seeded one . That wasn’t until tonight when the old lady who was running the drive-through window told me that there would be a extra $.30 charge for a plain bun . When I said my mom cant have seeds , and that I have always ordered it that way without any issues or extra charge, She in turn said “ Well I have been working here for the past seven years we always charge” . I said that’s okay never mind , I’ll go next-door to MacDonalds and order her one. She again speaks out saying go right ahead they don’t give out seedless buns either without a charge.
I let that comment go and we proceeded to move forward to exit out of the drive through as we passed by the window She hollered out “ Wow we got a bunch of really nice people right here . …..Really why say anything like that to us just because I was taking my business elsewhere because she couldn’t not provide what I needed for my mom without an extra charge.
I’m totally appalled with all of her comments and unprofessional behavior we received tonight .
I will not be returning to this location.

Not my first time visiting this location. Staff is very friendly and sincere. Food was hot and fresh.
Menu options don’t seem to be as diverse as they once were but I didn’t have time to read the whole board.
When did Checkers get to be so expensive? It was $12 for a medium chicken crunch sandwich meal! Must be the minimum wage increase trickling down.
And, to be honest, the sandwich wasn’t that good. The bacon and BBQ sauce helped but the chicken patty seemed over cooked (really dark, and tasted like the grease was old). But, maybe it’s double fried to get it crunchy? I definitely won’t be ordering that one again.

Fries are the best, fast food fries in the game! Burgers were fantastic.

I sat in drive thru for 9 minutes and I asked for a medium shake that cost almost 5 dollars and apple pie. The apple pie was over cooked and too hot to eat for 10 minutes and the medium shake was a small amount-maybe 12 oz if that

My wife and I went to the restaurant and I ordered the number 10 spicy meal she told me about the four dollar gorilla meal and I ended up getting my number 10, large for only six dollars and I got an apple pie to go with it!!! The manager Michelle on Friday night really went above and beyond. Thanks for the scrumptious meal and awesome service! Can’t wait to visit again. We love the AP Checkers employees!!

Came to this location at 6:28pm. The lady that took our order was nice and courteous. The problem was the food. The burgers, fries and wings were all cold. Talk about a waste of $38.43!!! Went to Checkers hungry and stayed hungry, what a shame. I will not be coming back here. Lesson learned!

Every time I come here to get my food it’s always fresh. It’s always hot and when I make my burgers special it’s always right on the other hand. I go to Mickey D’s and my shit always gonna get messed up, and it be some small thing to like how is it possible to not put something on my sandwich when it comes with the burger, come on, brother.
