Let’s be real Checkers doesn’t exactly have a fancy reputation, but this place always delivers. Every time I come here the service is fast, the staff is friendly, the kitchen usually looks clean, and the area isn’t bad. The food actually tastes good too. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s been the same experience every time: quick, inexpensive, and satisfying. Don’t show up expecting white tablecloths and a waiter it’s Checkers. It’s fast food that knows what it is and does it well. Good food, good prices, no complaints from me.

Attended the Grand Opening today. Store was remodeling and looked very sharp. The staff was welcoming and wearing smiles. I ordered the Breakfast Champ. The egg was fully cooked and well seasoned. It was so delicious. The Pina Colada energy slushie was delicious! I will be returning.

Honestly don’t pay any mind to low scores. I reviewed myself and very one off stuff that happens like at any place no matter where you go. A lot of other people eat here happily and I can see why it’s a busy location. The good stuff speaks for itself.

On November 14, 2025 my friend and I went to this location and our overall experience was horrible. While ordering it was extremely hard to hear the employee. Once at the window the experience just got worse because every time my friend or I said something it felt as if we were being ignored because the employee would constantly ask us to repeat ourselves. The food was horrible. The strawberry fried cheesecake bites weren’t hot nor were they crispy. They were drenched in powered sugar that the bottom of the container they came in had what looked to be about 3 spoonfuls of powered sugar in it. They didn’t seem like they were actually cooked properly and were completely disgusting. The fries were warm and slightly stale as if they had been sitting for a while. The burgers had more ketchup on them than anything else. I definitely won’t be returning to this location ever again.

After many years of disappointing service at this particular Checkers I am very happy to say that the service has improved greatly and today all of my food was fresh and delicious as well as exactly what I ordered and how I ordered it. We stopped by for lunch today. The service was good however, we drove off without checking the order. The hamburgers (checkers classic) was cold as well as over greased French fries. We didn’t go back to get hot food. It is so dangerous serving cold ground beef. We use to go to Sally’s in Virginia so we were excited to try Checkers. We won’t stop there again.

Husband and I went out to grab quick dinner few nights ago. He got a burger meal from here and got food poisoning. I ate from a different restaurant and was perfectly fine. My daughter says that she has experienced the same thing and will not eat here again.

Food was terrible. Tasted like they reused the grease several times without changing it. Normally the food here is ok for fast food, however, this time it’s was possibly on of the worst meals I’ve ever ordered.

The store was refurbished a few months back and it’s paid off. Service is great. Been several times and every time the staff is very helpful, polite, courteous. A pleasure to shop there. If you want a decent hamburger from fast food, this is a place to go. Not McDonald’s or Burger King.
