Much improved!!
Wow I was VERY impressed!! The Big Buford was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and this was one of the best burgers in town. Also despite the recent changes to their “Mother Cruncher” chicken sandwich it was EXCELLENT! A big piece of chicken that hung over the bun, and the actual filet was very flavorful with its perfect salty/sweet breading that gave it the perfect flavor. The difference being they switched from the orange peppery-sweet sauce they used to use to a more mayonnaise-like sauce which is still very good, and theirs is one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had anywhere in the area.
Their fries were seasoned perfectly and have a slightly similar taste to the curly fries at Arby’s, and I actually like the ones at Checkers better.
Another thing I really enjoyed were the funnel cake fries! These were a bit messy but delicious, and these were a highlight to the meal!
I didn’t check for WiFi because it’s pretty much a drive-thru only place, but I did happen to see four outdoor tables with chairs, and they DO offer free tea and soft drink refills for those who choose to eat one of these tables. Also I noticed no background music, which I didn’t count against them, being mostly a drive-thru place.
Definitely FIVE STARS because of the excellent taste and food quality, and overall I highly recommend it!!

Its Toast
Absolutely don’t go here, it used to be good but here lately the customer experience has been ruined, I just stood in front of the window for 15 minutes while the manager and another were talking and completely either ignoring me and or involved into they’re conversation they couldn’t be bothered to notice a customer. I then went to the drive thru where it took another 10 mins before some lady hollers some jargon I couldn’t make out, with an attitude then passive aggressively smiles at me when I’m getting the food. I wanted something for lunch today and stoped at Checkers. I decided on a BLT on Texas toast. It was delicious and had lots of bacon on it. They don’t have an indoor dining room but the outdoor tables with umbrellas are nice. They have a drive through too if you don’t want to get out of your car.

The fries are always hot and crispy. Burgers cooked fully. I tried the Cagun chicken sandwich. Mildly spicy and moist.

I love checkers but tonight I go order a shake and burger and this lady takes my order very nice, I get to the window and this guy that works here says my total I tap my card he hands me my food and slams the window. I said thank you as the windows being slammed, he walks off. I will not be returning. I work very hard for my money to give it to a place that treats me that way. Customer service has went so far downhill like if you hate your job quit and find one you like. We had a rallys here years ago and it went out of business dont think that can’t happen here also. By the way the burger was burnt a little and wasn’t good either.

Walk up window took 20 minutes to get food. I only ordered two sandwiches. Was told by others in line waiting that that is typical. An employee said manger told them to wait on drive thru first. They said Manager said they already had walk ups money, so they would wait. I won’t return. Food was just ok.

this checkers has the worst customer service nothing but rude and unprofessional employees
my issue was never resolved and instead it was made out like a joke with all the employees in the back laughing bc i was double charged and wanted my money back i will never come back to a place that can’t even treat their customers with basic human courtesy and respect!!
Jasmine who claims she’s a manager should never be a manger if that’s how she treats customers yelling cussing and laughing in my opinion she should let have a job as a restaurant manager myself i would NEVER accept my employees treating a customer this way checkers you need to do something !!!!
