As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

I hadn’t been to any Checkers in many years, this particular location was probably my last… I recall this location not being very impressive, but I used to love the one in Woodbridge. So, recently I stopped in here for lunch and got one of their “2 for” deals – I tried two of the Checkerburgers, with everything. I also noticed they have an extra large version of their fries and since I absolutely loved their fries, I got it.
First off – Placing my order – Was Complicated! Why can’t people who work drive-thrus in this country speak and understand fluent English? This is far from being anything offensive, it’s honest – I had a tough time simply asking what comes on the burger. While the service was friendly enough, the language barrier was ridiculous and frankly, unacceptable.
The food – The burgers appeared to be made with stale buns. They had that texture which is prevalent when they’ve been exposed to air too long. Could have been because I got there around 10:45AM for “lunch” but that’s no excuse. They should NOT be serving from a patch of buns opened the day before. Either way, these buns were no good. The meat wasn’t hot, it didn’t even melt the cheese. I found this horribly disappointing, as it’s the reason I no longer eat at McDonalds – they do this “warmer drawer” mess that keeps meat lukewarm, but not hot enough to melt the cheese. Well, it seems Checkers is also serving meat that isn’t hot enough to melt cheese – unacceptable!
Finally, the fries – They tasted like waffle cone! They had a sweet and odd back note to them, which isn’t what I’m familiar with. I wonder if they were fried in the same vat as a dessert item they also make/serve? Either way, I tossed them out after eating about ¼ of the cup of them.
I was so disappointed with this visit that it’ll be another 8 years before I come back.

The food is okay at best. The wait time is approaching Arby’s level of wait for food they have been gradually getting slower and worse as far as quality of service food quality. They randomly have been not open when the building says they should be open. Has been a while for that to be fair. But this last time I went. It was just me at the establishment and in my truck. Trying to pick up an online order. They told me that I have to use the other side. I told them I am the only one in my vehicle I can’t grab food from the passenger side. She said sorry that’s policy figure it out.

This was easily one of the most disappointing fast food stops I’ve had in a while. The burger was bland and somehow managed to be room temperature, which is impressive in the worst possible way. The fries were drenched in grease to the point where they felt more oily than edible. Even the sweet tea tasted strange, like something was off with it.

I am an Uber Eats delivery driver, and I had a very disappointing experience at this locations today. It’s exactly 11.56 pm 1/19/2026.
I waited almost one full hour for the order. During this time, the staff completely ignored me, even when I knocked on the window to ask for an update. They continued to prepare and hand out other orders without acknowledging me or explaining the delay. No apology or information was provided.
The associate’s behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. As delivery drivers, our time matters, and this kind of treatment affects our earnings and service to customers.
I am very unhappy with this experience and hope this issue will be addressed so it does not happen again.

OK, so I’m leaving this review because I can’t find another way to contact these folks. This afternoon (6:26). I ordered a Deep Sea Double meal. The fish portions were actually tough to chew. Very unlike the norm here. My wife had the Cheese Champ combo. Which she felt was not freshly cooked. She was concerned about eating it . We are normally happy with the food here so I just wanted to let someone know.
