This place has had its ups and downs. I love the food and the prices are great. There is at times ba wait but in exchange I get hot food made with care. No sloppy pickle in the wrapper onions falling off bs. The current crew is friendly and polite. I hope they keep it up. I don’t know if there’s new management or what but thanks to who ever. Its nice to grab a quick bite somewhere different. Outdoor seating isnt great in winter but its got a car hop feel so ill take it.

Usually slow but their burgers are way better than any other fast food places. Customer service is hit or miss. But better here than Island Ave. The fries are unique to them and also an upgrade compared to other places. It can get pricey. They have menu items that are always rotating and the menu can be useless unless you’re just saying “I want a number…..”

Horrible service. Food sucked. Worse then McDonalds. Been here once before and it was okay decided to go back and the service sucked… as soon as I handed the cashier my debit card before even attempting to swipe the card she said it might decline when I asked her why, she then stated because it has a chip in it, so I told her to swipe it and she said well that probably wouldn’t work either. Needless to say I had no cash on me and basically after her swiping my card 10 times I was able to order $3.50 worth of food which made no sense to me whatsoever and she claimed it was because their system was faulty or something. Besides that the service here is just awful I’m not much for fast food but I was extremely hungry. Next time I want bad service and poor quality food I’ll go to McDonald’s instead.
Atleast to be honest they made my food somewhat quick and put napkins in with bag that’s the only good thing I can say about Checker’s.. they’re not like they use to be that’s for sure.

I was just reading reviews about this establishment and Damn if the average reviews were right. I went for a slushy and milkshake THERE WAS NONE. The worker gave customers in front of me their order and shut window. ..didn’t say just a minute or can I help u INSTEAD came out and smoked a cigarette. The other worker came outside with gloves on to talk to someone went back in DID NOT change gloves. End up getting a chocolate cone (no vanilla or swirl) and one ice cream in a cup but NO SPOONS .SMH. Come on Checkers u can do much better!

Horrible…first thing, we were the only one’s in line, we ordered 4 meals. Simple enough, we get up to the window, and the guy completely forgets our whole order,so for the second time we have to tell him what we wanted, then we are watching as they are preparing the meal, mind you there are only 2 employees, the woman had pants on that were so small for her that my BF and I and MY KIDS were staring at her butt crack, and i don’t mean just a little showing, im talking we could see a tattoo half way down ber butt…then they tell us pull up out front, so ok fine, we are waiting almost 10 minutes, my BF gets out of the car to go check, he’s out there almost another 10 minutes. We finally get the food, and get home. EVERYTHING WAS WRONG. needless to say, unless we are just getting fries, we will NEVER be going back there again. Also one last thing, the “strawberry milkshake ” they gave us tasted like it was old, i could only take one sip, it was really funny tasting..ugh

The manager there does not allow you to use two different coupons even though the coupons are on unrelated articles. For instance, Your order is for a sandwich and a drink well one item will not be honored. We were told we had to make a new purchase do that we had to drive around the drive through again. I was scared to go in.

This location is a franchise that’s no longer open at the moment, manger wasn’t friendly at all poor customer service, order was messed up alot, burgers over cook veggies not fresh most of the time. Employees had ok customer service never an issue to have them fix an order that wasn’t correct. Hopefully if they reopen there will be some changes with management and proper reorder of inventory, who wants brown and wilted lettuce.

Incompetent workers , poor customer service skills , unsanitary , disrespectful. 11/4/2018 2:13 PM this store on Chester pike needs to clean up their act or close down. It’s bad enough that they operate as if they do not have licenses to be open. They take forever to come to the window, because they are too busy arguing or having personal conversations. It’s called fast food be we don’t expect yo wait 15 minutes for someone to come to the widow to serve us. It’s time for a renewed Checkers or Shut simply shut your door. Please post correct number to your page. Something that simple.

He was in such a hurry to get us away from the menu at the drive thru. After each thing I asked for he said “Anything else?” “Anything else?”
We paid, then sat for 6 minutes. Then he told me to pull forward and we waited 4 more minutes.
2 stars instead of 1 because at least after 10 minutes everything was fresh and hot.
We won’t be back.
