Our server did a great job! The staff was really friendly. The French onion soup was really good! The steak was good, adding the mushroom and onions was a good choice. I liked how it wasn’t heavily seasoned. It was kind of loud. To be fair, it may have just been the large Birthday party people. Good experience!

First time, chosen due to being seen while shopping. Great atmosphere with a wonderful smell that reminds you of a better time that hits you as soon as you walk thru the doors! As soon as I entered my eyes were caught with Cheap Charlie’s memorabilia that shows its roots in the community and how much they mean to everyone. My partner ordered the battered shrimp with a side salad (ranch) & fries while I ordered the Saturday special the “Tender Texan” (medium) with steamed broccoli and French Onion soup and two bread twists came with each of the meals as well. Drinks came out fast, with a half pitcher option for various long islands, as well as the soup and salad, and service was amazing and prompt. The whole meal was amazing and we plan on bringing our relatives back for a visit! Side note, the French Onion Soup is a MUST order for every visit.

We got here 30 minutes to close not knowing. Bartender, Kari served us up QUICK so we could still grab a drink. She was AWESOME in every way and even let us know the best places to go to next that were a similar vibe. I’ve been here lots and lots at this point, it’s worth saying everybody here is as awesome. Staff rocks, owner rocks. Definitely try this place out if you haven’t!

My family and I tried cheap Charlie’s today! It was absolutely delicious! This restaurant is decorated very historical with a taste of authenticity. I absolutely love seeing the photos of the restaurant being built. This is definitely a family’s legacy. Our waitress was Miss Holly and she was absolutely wonderful! Great food Great service , food was hot and came much quicker than expected. Highly recommend!

Cheap is the best way to describe this place. But not in a sense of money. The food was fine. Mediocre diner food, but we were charged $1.50 for a side of ranch. That’s insane to me. The decor is so tacky. I understand that’s the “theme” their going for but literally every piece of rubbish they tacked to the walls had no less than a 1/4″ layer of dust on it. The wait staff seemed busy (and while most of the tables were full so we didn’t mind a wait) they seemed to overwork themselves by taking on too many tables AND having to play hostess?! Literally seen 3 different waitresses stand at the hostess stand and seat people.

Excellent steak I had the ribeye juicy cooked just as I asked. Grape Ape Long Island delicious. Spaghetti was good very fresh garden flavor. My cousin had a Bacon Cheeseburger and fries with coleslaw all delicious. Abbey behind the bar was great she made a killer grape ape Long Island.
