We’re not Vietnamese so our knowledge of what to get is limited to places we frequent like places that serve Pho and Banh Mi so they don’t typically have fancy desserts like what they have here. We usually have small cups with coconut milk, tapioca, and other things like taro. They didn’t seem to have that here or we couldn’t explain what we wanted, wish I could speak Viet, maybe I should have used my phone’s translation feature.
We had three desserts with flavored tofu and a pandan waffle. They were all good, we’re not used to the rice cake like balls and would’ve really liked more coconut milk like other Viet desserts we’ve had but maybe that’s not how these desserts are customarily served, we just don’t know.
If you’re not especially hungry keep in mind that the bowls are fairly big so sharing might be best.
We would come back, hopefully a little more educated on these kinds of desserts because the staff isn’t going to be able to explain in detail if English is your first language.

Nice and clean inside seating. Chè in shareable bowls. Kinda on the sweet side, we added more ice to water down.

I didn’t expect much walking in as there are plenty of desserts around the area. But I was surprised how good it was. I got a lot more dessert than I expected. It tasted great as well. You want great desserts for the money and not in a small cup like bobba then check this place out.

Some of the best vietnamese style ice cream that I have ever had. I now suffer from guilt and need to walk an extra three miles tonight to burn off all the calories but it was worth it. I tried the ice cream in a coconut, the presentation of it makes for great instagram photos, but it tastes great too. Comes with fresh slices kiwi, mango, strawberries and some shaved coconut pieces. The ice cream at the bottom tastes the best as it has some coconut milk mixed at the bottom and can mix it with some of the coconut meat as you make your way to the bottom. It is nicer to share one with a friend.

The service is lovely and clean space. But I was disappointed in the avocado smoothie
We went a month ago and it was the best I’ve had. I live in SD so we don’t have a lot of places that make fresh smoothie with real avocados in them.
I went back last weekend and they seemed to have replaced the fresh avocado with a powder that leaves a really weird chemical aftertaste in your mouth. I was so sad I drove so far for this.

Best Vietnamese chè dessert place in Little Saigon! I love the grapefruit chè, it was very tasty, refreshing, and unique. The grapefruit rinds in the chè surprisingly had a good taste to it. Portion size is pretty big and the price was good for that. I highly recommend this place for chè, this beats all the other places around the area!

One of my favorite dessert spots in midway city. On the weekends they also make palm sugar cakes which are phenomenal. The atmosphere is nice and cozy as well.

This Viet dessert spot serves delicious Che that’s refreshing and not too sweet. I highly recommend trying the Che Buoi Lanh Dac Biet. The Banh Bo is another favorite of mine, always served fresh and warm. The service is friendly and accommodating. The environment is clean with lots of table and seats, perfect for larger groups!

This is a must try!!! Just tried their Vietnamese rice paper salad dish, also known as bánh tráng trộn, and it was AMAZINGG. The portions were very good for the price and the vivid flavors just complimented the dish perfectly. They had great customer service and I was very happy with the atmosphere. Will be visiting again for sure

Didn’t expect to love the chè here since I usually make my own — but wow, it’s so light, refreshing, and not too sweet! Amazing service too. I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing friends & family along! ✨JD
