This coffee was top-notch. I loved it. I ordered a regular hot coffee with almond milk and I’m so glad that I did. It was smooth and delicious. There’s not a ton of seating inside, but I was able to sit and do work for a few hours. I also thought the staff was very friendly. They came over to ask if I wanted any water. I’d definitely be back to get more coffee from this place. You can just taste the quality!

OK, you can’t look around for good coffee in Detroit area without going here. Very good coffee. They made one of the best espresso shots I have ever had from their Ethiopian sweet lily bean. Absolutely amazing profile. I also got their Kenya AB pour over which was likewise delicious. As you’ll see in the photos, the breadth of their bean selection is intense! Definitely did not make it out of there without some .

I had one of the best iced lattes I’ve had here. Flavour of the espresso was fantastic. Their hours of operation are a travesty, because I would love to frequent this place but it’s impossible. Also, I think their back wall has faux half exposed brick, which is obviously worse than tasteless.

With an innumerable number of choices Coffee Bean varieties to choose from, Chazzano is hands down one of the best coffee shops in the area. Too often coffee drinkers are stuck with the choice of one espresso to choose from and too many syrup flavor options to create an artificially flavored beverage. As a coffee aficionado I greatly appreciate that Chazzano yields so many roasting profiles. Recently, I had the Haitian Blue Zombie Desert. Today, I had the Mexican Chiapas. I highly recommend a visit to this cafe. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. You certainly cannot go wrong. Choose wisely!

Stumbled upon this gem of a coffee roaster. They have so many varietals to try using various methods. We were a little concerned that they wouldn’t be able to dial in our espresso well with so many options, but we were proved wrong. Let alone the ability to roast so many varieties to their individual profiles, without under or over developing. Bravo. We finished with Ethiopian Wush Wush espressos, which totally blew our minds. The orange creamsicle tangerine acidity was out of this world. Can’t wait to return soon. The people were friendly, helpful and loved talking about coffee without being at all pretentious. From someone who spent 12 years in the cafe industry, too many expos, all of that jazz, this was truly quite a refreshing and fun experience.

Stopped by to pickup a coffee treat for my team at our salon down the street. We got 5 lattes and all were delicious. The baristas were really friendly and helpful in picking the type of bean for our drinks, also extremely efficient! We all really appreciated that you could really taste the coffee without the additives. Excited to have something so close to us.

A local coffee roaster with a large selection of single origin and blends. It’s a friendly atmosphere soaked in the aromas of roasting coffee beans. We could have our beans delivered to Rochester, but we enjoy taking the trip to pick them up from the source. And, you can grab a coffee while you’re there. The staff is always helpful and can make recommendations or answer home brewing questions. Also, if you sign up for the emails, they feel more like a letter from Dad, charming and personable. Support your local roaster.
