Actor Chazz Palminteri in partnership with the owners of Empire Steak House opened Chazz Palminteri Italian Restaurant in midtown Manhattan. The location at the Cambria Hotel (46th Street) allows theatergoers to pair a showing of A Bronx Tale with a ‘taste of the story,’ a great lunch, dinner, and brunch spot, and an extensive wine list focused on Italian selections and the beverage list offers local craft beers and cocktails made with Palminteri’s own BIVI vodka, – the first Sicilian vodka. Wow!! What a lovely restaurant!!
Four of us had a perfect dinner here. Staff members were all very kind and attentive. Misrain was wonderful and took great care of us.
The spicy calamari (the best we’ve ever had), the spaghetti and meatballs, the bronx tail, the veal saltimbocca, the shrimp scampi…. all done to perfection.
Our compliments to the chef, the staff, and Chazz!! We will go out of our way on our future travels to dine here again. Magnifico!!

Fine restaurants often hate to see single diners. We stay too long and do not create big enough checks. However at Chazz Palminteri, I could not have been made to feel more welcome.
Elson, the maitre d hospitably welcomed me in. He made specific recommendations and then personally returned to the table to ask what I had decided. The Chicken Francese was similar to my favorite, Chicken Picatta, but by far the best I have ever eaten.
The restaurant was not particularly crowded at 6pm midweek but it was quiet and the service super despite a busy bar and a couple of large groups. The portions are generous but I did not leave feeling stuffed. I don’t generally order desert but I couldn’t pass up the tiramisu with my after-dinner cappuccino. It certainly did not disappoint!
David, my server was assisted by several attendants who made sure my glass was always full. This was just an overall amazing experience!

Wow! What a little hidden treasure, upscale but also very reasonable priced, welcomed our toddler with joy, and served us so meticulously– very exceptional white glove service. Every dish we had was amazing- while not on the menu, they served me fettuccini Alfredo and grilled chicken, and it was the best I’ve EVER had. The pizza was also very impressive, felt like great pizzeria pizza. The introductory bread was fresh and warm. And ice cream on the house for the little one, which was such a nice gesture. Would come here again FOR SURE and would highly recommend!

Service was superb, and that made it such a fun evening. I started with the espresso martini, not only did it look beautiful the flavors were perfectly balanced. The meal was very good, pasta you can’t go wrong. I ordered the filet. It was good, cooked a little more than my medium, came out more as a well, so maybe clarify what you want with a color center. The peppercorn sauce gave it a spicy kick, you could enjoy the steak with or without the sauce. Vegetables were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The only thing I would do differently, the potatoes. I believe they were oven baked, which makes them healthy and not greasy. However, I like a little crispy outside so I would have pan fried them in some oil to give them more texture. Again, their way is healthier. Dessert, I tried 3, and all three were delicious, but the tiramisu was out of this world. As far as atmosphere, we could hold a conversation but a part of me thought it would be fun if they were playing the soundtrack to Bronx Take in the background Highly recommend.

*Valentine’s Day dinner* Our wait between appetizer and main course was almost 1 hour, which kind of killed the vibe and we were starving. I’m sure it’s not like that on a regular day.
Chicken parmigiana was pretty good, along with the penne side. The salmon didn’t come out as warm as it should’ve, kind of lacked flavor, although it was a good portion size.
Rice balls were good, a little firm. For $18 you should get more than 3 rice balls.

Amazing experience from start to finish! The calamari was hands down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the service matched it every step of the way. Ardit was a phenomenal host—attentive, welcoming, and made the evening truly special. Highly recommend!

I happened to be in NY for the weekend and my husband surprised me with a reservation, upon arriving although i was solo this dinner, Juan and the staff were amazing and so polite. they truly brought up the atmosphere. Juan was considerate of my preferences and enjoyed conversation. After mentioning it was my birthday celebration he arranged the staff to sing for me. Truly an amazing experience.
