Actor Chazz Palminteri in partnership with the owners of Empire Steak House opened Chazz Palminteri Italian Restaurant in midtown Manhattan. The location at the Cambria Hotel (46th Street) allows theatergoers to pair a showing of A Bronx Tale with a ‘taste of the story,’ a great lunch, dinner, and brunch spot, and an extensive wine list focused on Italian selections and the beverage list offers local craft beers and cocktails made with Palminteri’s own BIVI vodka, – the first Sicilian vodka. Our new location, in Westchester, is perfect for a classic Italian dinner for locals and visitors bringing the elegance and Italian cuisine of the city to the beautiful area of Westchester.

Old-school elegance, including table linens, sets the stage for Italian classics, cocktails & wines.

Well I usually do not rate a “5” on all the categories however this restaurant deserves it. Was a great fine dinning experience. From appetizers to dessert. Filet Mignon was tender and could cut it with a fork ( like butter) The calamari appetizer was the most delicious I have ever had ( so tender ) My wife had the Chicken Parmesan and was perfectly done and presented. The Tiremesu was tasty and creamy. They also have an extensive wine list with great selections. Make your reservation and GO!

Wonderful restaurant, delicious food and thoughtful staff. We both got the fixed lunch menu which was affordable and more than enough food. We were surprised with a complimentary dessert for our anniversary which was an unexpected and delicious treat. My only note is that is was quite loud at lunch time. The dining room was huge but we were all seated together in a small section. I’m sure this could be avoided by asking to be seated elsewhere but it had been a long day and I didn’t think of it until after being seated. Overall a great spot to get lunch that I highly recommend.

We booked a table at Chazz Palmenteri as it was close to our hotel and Grand Central Station, so the location was very convenient. The restaurant wasn’t crowded and was very intimate. The antipasto was served promptly and very fresh. The bread has a great crumb and a perfect crunch. The small wedges of Parmesan were clearly broken in the traditional way, rather than sliced, which was a great detail that is often missed. The bitter olives paired well with the rich bread and cheese.

My wife and I had an excellent meal here, and rather “on-the-fly”. We called for a reservation, but it was a prime dinner hour (we had attended Colbert’s taping). We figured we’d take a chance and just “show up”. Lucky we did.

Our entrees came out fairly quick and the food was nice and hot. Our server was attentive and checked in on our table frequently. Next time I’m in the area I would definitely eat here again.

We had a large table and they accommodated us so nicely. The attentiveness and graciousness of the staff was top notch and their food and wine suggestions were on point . We opted for family style and enjoyed the fried calamari, baked clams, roasted asparagus, and buffalo mozz caprese to start . Our entrees were a Caesar Salad, Seafood Risotto , Mushroom Ravioli, Lobster Ravioli, Gnocchi Ragout, A Bronx Tail, and Veal Marsala. Highly recommend them all. Cappuccinos, Espressos, one choc lava cake and one tiramisu to end a wonderfully relaxing evening with family and no dishes to wash 🙂 We visit the location in White Plains often and love it there too. Enjoy

Updated review because I have realized I was far too harsh last time.

Honestly, the overall experience was good, but nothing was really “incredible”. The food was delicious and fresh, but it’s hard to call it “fine dining” to justify the price. Don’t get me wrong, the food was delicious, but the price was too high for something you can get at nearly any other Italian restaurant in the area.
