The best authentic Puerto Rican food we have found since moving to the South. The pork was so tender and delicious I couldn’t stop eating it. My husband’s mofongo was insanely tasty. The empanadas are crispy on the outside and juicy and delicious on inside. Everything is spiced to perfection. The service was like being at your family’s table for Sunday dinner. It’s no wonder Guy Fieri featured this hidden gem on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. I will return again and again.

My husband and I, along with out 1 year old went here yesterday and let me tell you the food is OUSTANDING. It felt like we were at the cooks grandma’s house lol everything was fresh and flavored, and the staff was so kind. Atmosphere was a good vibe. Even our baby tore her beans and rice up along with shredded chicken and avacado

I have been a super fan of this place for years but I was kinda disappointed today. I ordered the Macho Yuka Fries and 2 can cokes to share with my daughter. The meal had lots of liquid in the bottom…the fries were swimming. I don’t remember bf having a meal from here with so much liquid in it. It wasn’t as good today.
The other little pet peeve I had today was the cost of two can drinks. $8.00!! Yes I could have asked the price when I ordered them but who would have thought 2 can drinks cost $4.00 each!!! Crazy!

Great food! The dining room can use an update, but the food was so good I didn’t seem to care, nor did anyone else. I would definitely return if I lived in the area.

We were stopping on our way to Savannah for some lunch. Its a smaller place with outside seating and a little bit of inside seating. We were pleased that the weather was nice so we sat outside. When we ordered we were told some of the items on their menu weren’t available. So we chose other items. I will say the food was pretty good and very filling. We ended up having leftovers even though two of us shared. I would recommend the yuca as well as the plantain me crazy. I gave service a lower score becasue the person taking our order seemed to be irritated that we were there and that we were going to eat at the restaurant. Im not sure if he was having a bad day, but it definitely impacted my thoughts before I even got the food.

If you want to pay more for tiny food, wait a long time, and chase after the waitstaff to get your order, then go here. Tiny portions. I’m talking about Tapas sized. Expensive for the size. I wanted shredded beef but the waitress said they didn’t have beef and didn’t have chicken, basically the only thing available was churrasco. So I ordered that. It was tiny. And expensive for the amount. They took a long time and forgot part of my order. I let the waitress know, she said she’ll be right back with it. After 40 minutes, I had to go find the waitress to get the rest of my order. Turned out to be 3 beans and some rice. The juice was not great either. Don’t go there hungry. Huge disappointment. I will not be back.

This place is incredible. I’ve been here a handful of times and every single bite of food I’ve had from here was great. Last time I was in there the owner was there and came by to see how everything was. We got talking and he’s such a cool, nice guy and you can tell he is really passionate about the food and culture it represents. It really comes through in the food. Highly, HIGHLY recommend this place.

I got pasrleles..I was very happy to have them home and share … when I boiled them, i was surprised after i unwrapped that the pastel is not wrapped in a plantain leaf. Is wrapped in tin foil, which seeps into the pastel ..$38, and they are going to the trash . Google, why not wrap salty food with tin foil and boil…the aluminum will end in the food. Since you are boiling it. I have no idea why cut corners are not using the plantain leaf and them the aluminum foil.. im in Florida, so thereno way to return them .

Simply amazing! There’s no other way to describe it. The food is delicious and plentiful. The staff is so friendly. We got to meet the owner Chaz. He made us feel welcomed and at home. We drove down from Spartanburg to get away from the storm. We stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try. Well we made an excellent choice! I highly recommend this place if you happen to be in Pooler, GA!
