If you are looking for a reason to get dressed and go out Chayz lounge is where it’s at. Buy your tickets online so it doesn’t run out of spots for the show. I wish I had two stomachs. Laid back, grown-up playground. Was in Columbia for the weekend, and my girlfriends treated me to Chayz. The ambiance, vibe, and service were all class-A!! The owner was engaging and approachable, and the band was on point. Small, intimate spot and reservations are required. I’m told they have a Sunday brunch, which I’m told is also amazing…Looks like I will have to make another trip to SC!!!

This was my first time at Chayz Lounge. The food was àmazing. The service was outstanding. Shay with and “S” gave us excellent service. I had the pan seared salmon over eggs with bacon side of grits. When I tell you, absolutely no salt pepper or anything needed. The music was very good. I recommend this spot. The owner made her rounds to see how things were going at every table. I can only say good things about this place.

We had a great night out at Chayz. The owner introduced the band and made rounds greeting customers at the break. The servers were excellent and the right kind of attentive. The room is nice and intimate with good sound and sight lines. As a vegetarian, I was happy with the choices and we chose from among the excellent salad choice; my date had gone there for Mother’s Day brunch with her children and liked the Creole Shrimp and Grits. There’s also a beef ribs dish, which I’m told is not common.

I have been wanting to go here for the last three years, and we finally made it. Our food was amazing… I got the salmon BLT- the bacon. The mimosas were awesome, and the music tied everything in together! I can’t wait to go back!

Nice comfortable and chill atmosphere for some grown folk fun. Music was great. Staff was friendly. The food was tasty. The crab cakes I ordered were kinda small and a bit pricey for an app, but very flavorful. Definitely would go again. Great for couples.
