This place is incredible. My wife and I come here on a daily basis. The food is always so good, very authentic and everything has so much flavor. We try something different every time now because we know its going to be good. They are always consistent on the food and service. They’re family owened and everyone is so kind and it’s overall great atmosphere. We have tried the breakfast tacos, enchiladas, tamales, stuffed burritos, carne guisada, barbacoa, pancakes, breakfast plates, etc. All of it is amazing! My wife loves the café de olla in their mugs as well, highly recommend. I wish I had more pictures. Please check this place out!!

Stopped here on a whim and so glad we did! Best barbacoa in town!! Very similar like the barbacoa you can get in Mexico! The cafe de olla was DELICIOUS! Menudo needed a little bit of salt but otherwise was good. Service was perfect! Will be back again!

First time trying them this morning. I was looking for a place that had good carne guisada and good barbacoa. The lady at the counter let me try a small sample of the guisada, and OMG It was sooo tender and flavorful. The barbacoa had excellent flavor and tenderness as well. Normally I have to add salt and pepper to my barbacoa, but they had the seasoning on point so I didn’t have to add a thing. I also ordered an egg, potato, and cheese taco; excellent as well. Good serving sizes per taco too. If they stay consistent with the quality they had today, this may be my new favorite spot!!

My son and I had lunch at Chavez Liras Tacos recently. Food was good however the serving portions were small. My son asked for carne guisada plate and there was more cheese than meat on his order. This was very disappointing. My charro beans were cold.

This was my most difficult review to post in 10 years. I tried the breakfast special, huevos rancheros with barbacoa. The people here working seem wonderfull. The barbaco is so salty. The papas came on the plate and were cold with no salt on them. The beans were thick and dry. The ranchero sauce had a very small hint of flavor. Must have been a bad morning I hope.
