We were passing through hillman and stopped for a late lunch. Our was our first time here. I got a deluxe burger with fries. Husband got a chicken sandwich. Both were good. Love the decor, love the small town feel. Would stop again.

2yrs later update: still great food!! Had the cod dinner and the cordon bleu. The food was delicious and the service was great!
2 yrs ago: One heck of a good pizza! The service and menu and atmosphere and drinks were all great, but the cheesy cheesy pizza stole the show!! Great find in the middle of Northern Michigan!!!

I don’t think I’ve ever walked out of a restaurant before this!!!. First off, we sat for 15 minutes being ignored. Then was handed tow menus, without being asked what we would like to drink. 15 more minutes asked what we would like to drink, order was taken. 1 hour 10 minutes later with the ice melted and pop warm, never being ask if we needed a refill I ask where I food was. The waitress went and spoke withe the cook, then never one time acknowledged us, never came back spoke to us. This waitress was the worst I’ve ever seen. I payed for our 2 pops and she actually gave me a fist full of 1 dollar bills, like she was expecting at tip.
I would never recommend this place I’ve never had this bad of service EVER!!!
