Me and my fiance used to love coming to this restaurant, but the front server has changed and it is not the same anymore. Twice we have had a really bad customer service experience. We order something, get something else and then get charged for it as well.
Last time we ordered a chicken dish and got a paneer one instead.
This time, we didn’t order any combo.. she served us a combo and then overcharged as well. The Amritsari Kulcha, even when you see their menu for the combo price too says 11 bucks, and she charged 14 dollars for some weird reason and that too when we didn’t order it and she agreed too that we didn’t.
Losing 2 customers doesn’t affect your business but we are not coming back here for sure!
If you keep up with this level of customer service, you are going to end up losing a lot more customers.

The GOAT CURRY at Chatora Indian Restaurant in Cloverdale was absolutely outstanding. The meat was incredibly tender, slow-cooked to perfection, and infused with deep, authentic spices that felt both comforting and indulgent. The balance of flavors was spot on—rich, aromatic, and not overpowering. Special compliments to Chef Ram for creating such a soulful, homestyle dish. Hands down one of the best goat curries I’ve had—highly recommend!

Today I ordered veggie pakora from this restaurant and being a Indian, I was expecting original veggie pakora which were supposed to be a mixture of different vegetables like potato, onions, spinach, etc but instead of that I got these Pokora, which are mixture of red carrots, cabbage, onion, bell pepper. I am eating veggie pakora for a long time but I have never ever seen anyone putting red carrots, bell peppers and cabbage as veggie pakora, which was the funny part. They just mash those things and make a flat round sort of patties, in which most of the onions were burnt, and it was loaded with lots of chickpea flour, which supposed to be at least amount in veggie pakora.
Moreover, there was nothing mentioned on their menu that which things they put in these veggie pakora, neither the guy on reception told us anything about the ingredients and when I told them like, what are these they say this is how they make this. My only concern is by putting the name as veggie pakora which is an Indian dish, they are not even selling the actual dish on that name, they are completely delivering a different item which was tasteless because everything is mixed and I was not even able to taste one single flavour and only thing I could taste was chickpea flour because that was in pakora’s in excessive amount.
All the black part you see is burnt onion, the yellowish shiny part is chickpea flour. You could see how much chickpea flour they put in these pakoras. I was never offered any compensation for such an item by this restaurant neither refund.
I hope take this under consideration so that no one gets disappointed in future for having this kind of stuff which was waste of my money,time and first visit.

Great food and amazing taste! I’ve tried this restaurant a couple of times now and every time the quality has been excellent. Recently I ordered food for a party and everyone loved it — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Definitely ordering again. Highly recommend!

So this is definitely one of the best places to get butter chicken from, and this was my very 1st time getting their “lunch special” I thought it was a good deal for only $8?! What I wasn’t anticipating, was how incredibly small the portion of butter chicken was! The “tangy potatoes”, are just sour potatoes, fried. While they were not bad, I definitely expected a “tangy” flavor, as opposed to sour!
It came with 4 (Yes, that’s FOUR) pieces of naan bread, and only about 3-4 pieces of chicken; what’s wrong with this picture?
As good as their food is, if I knew the “lunch special” meant “naan with a side (or spoonful of) butter chicken, i wouldn’t have ordered it!!!
Was it delicious? Yes.
Was I disappointed? Very.
Will that deter me from ordering here again? Not at all.
Their food is great, but I think they need to re-evaluate their portions!!!

The food tastes good, though it’s not exactly as it tastes back home in india, but it was definitely good… The service was slow or maybe I’m too hungry! Ambiance was just fine and food was moderately expensive..

We found this little gem of a restaurant by chance when we were in the area and I’m glad we had lunch there. Don’t let the unassuming appearance fool you, the food is excellent. I loved the fries with coconut curry, they’re the best fries I’ve ever had. All the other items we had were also delicious. Definitely going there again!

Food was so good. We loved the Desi Chicken Wrap a lot and could have ordered a lot less additional food because it was very filling. All of the other dishes were enjoyable but because we were so full we didn’t enjoy them as much. Service is a bit lackluster but in this simple space you wouldn’t expect anything else. The restaurant could use a face-lift but it is clean.
