Nice looking restaurant. Ordered a lobster pizza and crab cakes.

Lobster pizza is personal sized. Be warned. They also don’t mention blueberry pie on their internet menu.

Judging by these other reviews and stuff, I think you are best going to this place at least 2 hours before closed and getting either lobster rolls, any baked fish they have, and blueberry pie.

Jealous they do not have the pie listed online. Also we came from bar harbor as our stay is in winter harbor. We picked here since they had a lobster pizza for $31, figured it would be a decent sized pie. The other lobster pies in bar harbor are $29 for personal pie(9″).

Food was still incredibly good. Comfort food/bar style. Thank you

Jessica was a doll. The Haddock chowder piping hour and delicious! The clamp chowder could have been warmer. The Lobster butter roll delightful. A lovely slice of Maine!

We made reservations online for 6 at 6:30 and they seated us promptly at a table for 10. They were busy and an obviously popular spot so maybe we made a mistake with 5 of us ordering pasta dishes. The noodles in the shrimp scampi and lemon scallop were not good. The shrimp were like bay shrimp out of a can, not fresh jumbo shrimp. No capers or scallions so very little flavor. The scallops were good and again the noodles blah. The Margherita pizza was very good and our grandson said best pizza ever. Our server was very good and the atmosphere nice but couldn’t compensate for the noodles. Maybe we should have ordered more seafood. Our granddaughter had the Haddock chowder with oyster crackers and really liked it. The onion rings appetizer was quite good with a decent amount of serving and I forgot to take a pic until it was almost all eaten. Same with desserts! 3 had the blueberry pie which was excellent, I split a Funky Monkey with my granddaughter, a banana cheesecake with a cookie crust and peanut butter glaze, very fun and tasty – see the empty plate with two spoons pic! Our 13 year old grandson ordered the New York style cheesecake with blueberry compote which he gave only 3 stars and was very disappointed they forgot the whipped cream that was promised on the table card. If that’s the best they can do, I doubt we’ll be back. For the price, not really worth it, sorry!

Dinner out on vacation. We arrived at 600 on a Wednesdays evening. It took a LONG time to get seated. Almost an hour, but we wanted to stay and try them out. There were only 3 people working that we could see, and that included the cook!

Once seated, everything went fast! Probably 10 minutes from ordering to being served.

We had onion rings and mushrooms to start. Very good! I had the baked stuffed lobster which was so rich it was hard to finish. BF had a fried variety platter which he didn’t care for. Sister had a haddock sandwich that she enjoyed. Dessert was blueberry pie served warm with ice cream. The star of the meal!

Server was competent and kind. Intimate, simple decor. Make sure you check hours before making the trip- they are closed a few days a week, and close at 6 or 7 pm different nights. Total for all food was $115. Not bad!

Chase’s is a must stop for really good food. Every Friday, they have “All you can eat” Fried Haddock for $20. Don’t forget the cocktails, the Blueberry Vodka Lemonade is very tasty!

We stopped here because it was one of the few places still open while we were out. No regrets. The food was great. My wife and I shared a seafood platter with haddock, clam, shrimp, and best of all scallops. The scallops were divine. We got blueberry pie since my wife had never had blueberry pie, and it was life changing. You cannot get better blueberries than in Maine. Period. When transformed into a pie… Again, life changing.

Great food, great service. Hands down one of the best bowl’s of Clam Chowder I’ve ever had. My wife said her Haddock was the best she had. We will go again when we vacation in Maine.

Generous portions in the lobster rolls. The meat is tossed in a mayo dressing that you can easily season with salt and pepper at the table if you find it too mellow. The blueberry pie is good, but get the blueberry crisp if they have it. Recommend and would order the same again.

The food was fabulous. I had the lemon pepper scallops with linguine. It was wonderful. The staff is friendly. Very much a small town Down East Maine experience. Highly recommend stopping here!
