The food is very unique and just delicious! Service was exceptional.
The crispy cauliflower was just fantastic, never tasted cauliflower cooked this way before. We order the steak and the salmon and they’re so standout. Don’t forget to get the D St Dip, it’s one of the best appetizers around. Can’t way to come back to this wonderful place.
The bartender was very attentive and kept my drinks full. I had their Famous Bloody Mary that is made with habanero vodka that made just spicy enough. I had the Chile verde madness which comes with two eggs, black beans and breakfast potatoes. The Chile verde was some of the best I’ve had.
Just a heads-up: they’re offering happy hour specials all day on Monday and Tuesday. From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday through Saturday, and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Service: 5*
Ambiance: 4*
Enjoyed dinner here with colleagues. We had the private room on the second floor. We had Brussels spouts, meatballs, and buffalo chicken dip as appetizers. For dinner, I asked if the waitress heard better reactions to the filet or skirt steak. She said skirt steak, it did not disappoint.
Food:
Brussels spouts 4* – crisp tender with a balsamic glaze, I personally found them too sweet, but others seemed to like them
meatballs with mozzarella- 4* – tender and juicy meatballs with mozzarella on top, toasted until bubbly, great with the toast points served
buffalo chicken dip – 5* – excellent, a good kick of heat, but also solid flavor, it was a hit at the table
Skirt steak – 5* – juicy, tender, perfectly cooked, served with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Truly the best dish.
Service was excellent. Our waitress was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. She was attentive to our member group and was on top off all our needs.
Ambiance was good. Open, airy and a hint of rustic. The private room had a more Western type theme with iron and wood with some mirrors on the walls. The only negative for this space is service can be delayed due to the need for the staff to run up and down stairs to get to you. There is an elevator but it is very slow.
All in lo mother good meal at Chase’s which continues to be a bright star in an otherwise lackluster restaurant scene in downtown La Verne.
Service-wise, it wasn’t terrible, just a bit inconsistent. Our server was pleasant but seemed stretched thin, and there were some delays with check-ins and follow-ups. Nothing major, but it did take away slightly from the overall experience.
Still, the quality of the food makes it worth a visit. If they tighten up the service just a bit, this place could easily be a five-star favorite.
We decided to try their brunch menu and it was very good.
I highly recommend trying their catch of the day when available.
Great service.
Be sure to reserve a table in advance.

They also have live music on select evenings.

I like how it had two entrances, one for restaurant and one for the bar area but sadly the bar and restaurant were combined. When seated for dinner they wanted to put us at a small table for four near the bar area and I requested to sit in the booth a little further back. She had to check with the supervisor and it ended up being ok.
The server was nice but honestly a little too sarcastic, I would expect that at like a lounge/bar but not for dinning. It could be too that maybe she served both areas.
I had the steak, my husband had the wild boar. He loved his and I admit the flavor was very delicious, the sauce they cooked it in but it was on the sweet side, he enjoys that but I don’t as much. My steak came out on quite the platter – literally like a live edge piece of wood. Pretty great display! The steak however was on the tough side. I found this place on my dining app so I thought I’d give it a try. It wasn’t horrible but I don’t think I’ll be back. If I was more local I’d consider but this is not a place I’d make a special trip for. The desert we wanted was out and so that was a bummer but we ended up with the cinnamon roll pudding and it was more like a thick cake.
I guess I just expected a little more with the ratings and suggestions.
