Lucky to live walking distance from this gem. Date night or girls night, it’s the place to be. I have nothing but great things to say about Chartruse….just that you must experience for yourself. Speakeasy vibes and those most amazingly crafted cocktails prepared by some of the most talented bartenders and nicest people. Seasonal menu changes with drinks you can’t find just anywhere. Popular place but the wait is worth it.

We absolutely adore Chartreuse Craft Cocktail Lounge and their staff. So much so, that we held our wedding reception there! The atmosphere is so cozy, inviting, and intimate. The staff is so kind and well educated, and you can clearly tell that they have a passion for what they do. They bring in the best local bands/musicians that suit the atmosphere perfectly. Their drinks are INSANE in the best way possible, with such a variety of alcohols, ingredients, and garnishes. Even beautiful glassware, because who doesn’t love a pretty cocktail? I often find myself learning something new or encountering an ingredient I’ve never heard of, and the bartenders are always happy to share what they know. The menu updates pretty frequently, which showcases their creativity, seasonal flavors, and the care they have for creating amazing cocktails and an excellent experience. The drinks you’ll find on the Chartreuse menu are unlike drinks you’ll find anywhere else locally. They are truly crafting beverages, as opposed to just pouring you a drink. If you enjoy finely crafted cocktails (or even mocktails), we could not recommend Chartreuse enough!!

I just spent an evening at Chartreuse, and I’ve gotta say — this spot is quickly becoming one of my absolute favorites in Southwest Florida. If you’re anywhere near Bonita Springs and you’re in the mood for a cocktail, this is the place to go. It’s got that perfect mix of laid-back and upscale that makes it ideal for a date night or just catching up with a friend over drinks.

Live music was phenomenal. Sun State Blues played all the classics and the new titles from indie bands. The whole place is a vibe. Miles above the rest.

Chartreuse definitely leans hard into the hipster vibe, and that’s fine, but the staff act like they’re doing you a favor by acknowledging you. The energy was very matter-of-fact and borderline dismissive from the moment we walked in.
As soon as we asked a couple simple questions about the menu, we got short, almost annoyed responses. No warmth, no effort to make first-time guests feel welcome. For a cocktail bar charging premium prices, you’d expect at least a little hospitality.
The drinks themselves were… fine. Nothing you couldn’t get at any other craft bar, and certainly not worth feeling like an inconvenience just for ordering. The whole atmosphere felt more like a “members-only” club for regulars, and if you’re not already part of that scene, don’t expect much.
Stylish place, sure — but customer service matters, and there are plenty of cocktail lounges in town that manage to be both creative and friendly. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back
