We had dinner at this steakhouse one night during our snowboard trip. I love the stone wall fireplace at the entrance. Warm and elegant atmosphere, our server Angie was really nice and great services.
Hubby is a meat lover and we were hoping to have a great steak dinner, but left disappointed.
Don’t get me wrong, the Roasted Butternut Squash Bisque and the Wild Mushroom Risotto side dish were pretty good.
Now let’s talk about the steaks. I ordered the 12oz Fitch Ranch NY Strip and hubby got the 16oz Fitch Ranch Ribeye. Both steaks were cooked just right but they were way tooo salty. Also it wasn’t a good cut on the $76 Redeye, there was so much fat(inedible) on it.
We don’t mind to pay for good steaks, but for the quality we got at this Steakhouse, just not worth it if you ask me.

We had a lovely experience at Charter Steakhouse, and a big part of that was thanks to Carmen and Sophia, who were both warm, attentive, and a joy to interact with.

The beet salad with pistachio was delicious, and although the lamb chop arrived a bit undercooked, it was fixed right away without any fuss.

Now, a gentle note from a dessert lover: the lemon tart from our first night wasn’t our favorite (okay… it was very firm ) and might benefit from a rethink. Luckily, redemption came the next night when Carmen surprised us with an off-menu carrot cake that was fantastic and absolutely deserves a permanent spot on the menu.

Overall, great food, wonderful hospitality, and a place we’d happily return to — just maybe skipping the lemon tart next time .

Disappointing. Served wrong food three times. No serving utensils with side dishes. Steaks and lamb served rare – vs ordered medium rare+. Came for the elk osso bucco (which was on the website) and told don’t have, replaced by short rib. undercooked lamb when sent back was served well done. Sauce on the lamb was overly sweet. NY strip steak was 40% fat.

Chef Matt Good exquisitely prepared the locally sourced steak, sides and all other dishes. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. Special note to the bartender Nick and all of the wait staff and bartending staff as well. We will return. Thank you all!

Sat there for over 45 minutes without even getting a drink. Other parties at tables around us were all complaining with multiple orders getting sent back. Worst service I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant, just had to leave.

We had an amazing meal this evening! The petite filet was cooked to perfection and the servers, Angie and Blendi, were friendly, attentive and efficient! Highly recommend! The Quinto do Crasto port for dessert was delicious and velvety!
