It’s always been a good Mexican restaurant. The staff is awesome, very nice, and on point with drinks, or simply checking on your table.
We had a 7 people come in, and an hour and a half later, 2 more adults and 4 kids.
We had family come on from out of town, and they requested Charros. They always have good food! And yesterday wasn’t any different. They give you huge portions, so leftovers are always awesome, in my book.
The staff didn’t mind that we sat there for a 2 to 3 hours while visiting with family. But we also made sure we weren’t in their way.
Thanks, Charro, for having a wonderful staff, a beautiful place where we can visit with family, and great food.

Beautiful restaurant! Great service. Really good chips served before our meal. The food came quickly and was excellent! We were headed home from Springfield when we decided to stop and eat. We will definitely eat here again if we are in the area!

I mostly came here to tell you that the salsa is LITERALLY the best I have ever had at a restaurant. Authentic and robust in flavor! Whether on chips alone or paired with your meal, the salsa was NOTABLY DELICIOUS.

First time trying this place, but my friends come like every week. Everything was delicious. The salsa was great, not spicy like some other places, so if you like spicy salsa I’d request some for the table. I had the grilled chicken breast and it was soooo yummy!

Online ordering is a joke. On your website the steak la Paz and steak tapatio have the same description on them which is wrong. So I ordered the tapatio thinking it was the la Paz got home realized it was wrong then had to reorder the correct one and pay for it all over again so I wasted my money on one of them. When I brought it up to the person on the phone and I’m store all I got was yeah the la Paz is the only one with fries and I’ll talk to the manager about fixing the description. So it needs fixed asap because it’s bull hockey that I had to waste my time and money like that driving back and forth and being stuck with the wrong meal no one in my family will eat

Unless you go on Cinco de Mayo, it’s never crowded. You never have to wait to be seated. The service is always fast and friendly. They always keep our glasses refilled. We like to go for lunch to take advantage of the lunch specials.

Simply trash* they don’t know what they are doing when you order it over the phone and makes you feel rushed as well when you do. Even when you show up to eat and you ask for a custom meal they still get it wrong so do yourself a favor and go to lose rancheros down the street. Charros has cheap chips and bland bean dip!!!

The environment in this store is awesome! I got the Pollo Encremada and it was delicious. I think their chips and salsa is some of the best I’ve had.

Food here tasted good but was in small portions and expensive.
One good point I did see was that the place was pretty well cleaned up and tables that were open were already set up with silverware.
Unfortunately the service was poor. It took us 40 minutes for them to finally take our orders (they at least kept giving us chips and salsa but not enough salsa for us to have per basket). They also didn’t do a great job refilling our drinks. We had a reservation as well so I’m surprised they took so long. The place wasn’t even that busy. The experience also doesn’t feel that authentic being in such a big building.
Would I go again? Not really.

Excellent food.
Not quite as good as the Tex Mex in Texas but very good.
Portions are huge enough to share.
Beer is always cold and the bar is always child free.
