First time visit so we didn’t know the menu very well. More exploration would yield better results. That said, we had a breakfast burrito of epic size but a little dry (more queso?) and under seasoned. The chili relleno apparently done on a griddle instead of frying. Rice and beans side ok but not exceptional. I think burritos and tacos would be pretty good here. And the fish burrito looks very interesting. No inside seating and a chill wind blowing on our visit so we ate in the car.

I’ve eaten there twice now and both main dishes were incredibly bland and flavorless. Worst Mexican food I have had in years. Mexican is known for its flavor! Put some seasoning in those dishes! Gringo Mexican I guess. Had tacos and pollo asada.

We love having a great Mexican food restaurant in Corona de Tucson. We have been regulars since they first opened and usually eat there at least once a week. This is a food truck that is permanently located next to Ace Hardware in Corona. There is a small indoor seating area, also where the salsa is located. Couple tables out under the pergola.

Excellent service, good prices, generous portions and you can get two meals out of one burrito unless you’re a big eater and then you’ll be taking home leftovers, nice, clean dining area. Complimentary Salsa and chip bar with your meal. This place is always busy. I’ve been here about five times in the past month. Highly recommended as of 1/28/19.

We had really slowed down on going to Charquitas several months ago after one too many bad experiences (customer service related). Last weekend we gave them another try and I’m happy to say it was an excellent experience. The person taking phone calls and transactions was bilingual, friendly and professional. The cook even greeted us with a friendly smile. The order was delivered with accuracy, and was delicious as always (that had never been a problem).
