My wife and I had an amazing lunch at Charminar Express! We’ve loved the original San Diego location for years, so when we saw they opened in Temecula, we couldn’t wait to check it out — and it did not disappoint.
We both ordered the 2-item lunch combo. I went with Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic butter naan, and my wife had Chicken Vindaloo and Butter Chicken with garlic naan. Everything was bursting with flavor — rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced.
Our server, Harsh, was wonderful — super kind, attentive, and even told us about their Wednesday night all-you-can-eat buffet (which we’re definitely coming back for).
Everything about this place impressed us: the food, the value, the service, and the atmosphere. Charminar Express has officially become our new favorite Indian spot in Temecula. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to expand their taste buds and enjoy some incredible Indian cuisine!

Ordered paneer chili and street style hakka noodles. Saddest food experience of my life. Idk how the reviews are so high – probably for south Indian food, but do not order indo Chinese food!! The noodles had green peas, carrots and potato! I thought I ordered noodles not PULAO the paneer chili was not paneer chili, more like soft paneer dropped in some masala gravy. YALL PLS

My wife and I visited this place during our trip to San Diego over Valentine’s weekend, and it was a fantastic experience. They were hosting a Dosa Night the day we went, and the food was outstanding. The dosas were perfectly made, and the taste and texture of the chutneys were absolutely amazing. We also tried idli along with a few non-veg appetizers, and everything was delicious. This is easily one of the best desi spots for breakfast items, I’ve tried in the States. The ambience was pleasant, and the restaurant is located in a great neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Had an absolute blast at Chaat Corner with friends! So much fun and laughter, and they were super nice to accommodate all of us. We started with pakoda and yummy kesari, then had pav bhaji, pani puri that totally reminded us of India, and some amazing samosa chaat. Loved the customized chaat options too — and the tea was just perfect!

They don’t even deserve this one star. Not sure how they are receiving good reviews may be some incentive and or bot accounts. Because the food here is absolutely disgusting. I rarely leave comment/reviews unless it’s absolutely terrible or great. Service is nonexistent. They gave us really old stale chutneys and burnt dosa. Uttapam was slimy and burnt. The food was extremely salty and had no taste. There’s no authenticity whatsoever and they cannot claim it to be South Indian because they couldn’t even get a dosa or uttapam right which is a south Indian staple. Person who came to take order, in the middle of ordering he says he has to answer his phone and just left didn’t come back. We had to wait and then waive another guy to come and take the order again. They care more about their to go orders over the phone than actual dine-in customers. Don’t waste your time or money here, there are plenty of Indian restaurants nearby and much better. Or any other place than this. Visited 03/01/26
