Very good Indian food appears to be fairly clean no wine no beer Services non-existent it’s kind of a self serve facility tip accordingly. I would describe the food as fairly spectacular.

I’m a regular at this restaurant since it’s conveniently located right across from Wayne State University, and I wanted to share an honest review based on multiple visits.
My go-to order is always the Chicken Dum Biryani (boneless)—a friend recommended it to me, and I haven’t looked back since. Hands down, it’s the best biryani I’ve had, and no other place has matched its flavor. I’ve tried some of their other biryani options, but they didn’t quite hit the mark for me—just not my preference.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to a recent experience with the gulab jamun. Unfortunately, it tasted old and seemed to have been reheated in used oil, which really affected the flavor. It was disappointing, especially compared to how great the biryani is.

This place was the best, very clean and amazing customer service! Their food is soo good and they are really nice. Everything was seasoned great, cooked to perfection and the portions were beyond what i expected. They also have a long list of different kinds of food that you can try. I have two small kids who run and play a lot and since they are so young they don’t like sitting for long. The lady in there didn’t care and in fact started playing with them, carrying them and put on music and started dancing along with them; something that not a lot of people do. Overall I would definitely come back to this place and try the rest of their menu options

I originally planned to go to Ima for pho, but they were fully reserved. Then I saw Charminar Biryani House and was instantly drawn in, so I went in with two other people. The cashier and server were really nice, and at first everything seemed great.
The food smelled amazing, but things went downhill once we started eating. The Chicken 65 had an extremely strong garlic taste and didn’t taste like Chicken 65 at all. The Garlic Naan felt like it had just been warmed up and was tough to chew, almost like sandpaper. The Lamb Biryani is what I was most excited for which didn’t taste like lamb, was very dry, and was hard to swallow also it lacked flavor.

Had been in the area and decided to try out this place. Wasn’t too crowded, super friendly and courteous staff, quick ordering without wait. Food looked great and was deliciously delicious! Naan’s not chewy, was thin and properly made. Veg entrees had decent serving. Good place to try out

Got the butter chicken and rice with some naan on the side. The host did not ask me for a spice level, but I overheard her ask the other customers for their spice level. The butter chicken tasted too sweet, but the rice was good. There was a 10 minute wait for the naan. When it came out, it tasted and felt undercooked.
Update: I have dined in here multiple times. The food is good, it’s not always consistent, but it’s usually tasty.

Love stopping here from time to time to grab delicious food. Highly recommend the garlic naan and chicken biryani. Cooked perfectly every time. Chicken is flavorful and juicy, bread always fresh. So good!
