I had an excellent experience dining in here at Charm Thai with a group of friends. It was extremely easy to call in for a reservation (which I recommend). We tried a variety of dishes including pad Thai, fried rice, curry with salmon, and crab sticks. All of the dishes were very fresh and perfectly balanced. I would certainly prefer a bit more flavor/spice however. The Thai iced tea was also great! Service was quick and the servers were very friendly. The ambience was fantastic with their flower decorations. Great for photos. Pricing was extremely extremely reasonable especially for Portland. Would certainly recommend trying charm Thai!

I’ve been here a few times now and I am loving this small restaurant. Every dish I have had has been immensely flavorful and a fair portion size (I always have leftovers). Seating is intimate and the restaurant is decorated with lots of flowers, golden accents, and crushed velvet chairs – a romantic spot for dates, perhaps. I keep coming back because the food is impressive and the service is lovely.

We had a decent meal, it wasnt excellent. The pork appetizer was good. The potstickers were mid. The short rib was extremely fatty and not well presented, taste was ok. Crispy shrimp were not crispy. They are shell on. The description is a touch confusing but they were good, huge, the sauce and bok chop was exceptionally good. Peeling the shrimp is annoying and messy. She’ll off would be better. Ordered wings for the kids. They were not good. Not seasoned. The plates are darling and the decor is pretty. There’s better places for a $100 meal.

“I really discovered this restaurant too late! The food was absolutely delicious, and the attention to detail in the presentation of each dish was beautiful. I decided to try a menu item that wasn’t one of the popular recommendations—at first, I didn’t expect much, but when our dinner arrived, it turned out to be absolutely wonderful. I’ll definitely be coming back again!”

Took my friend here for her birthday dinner. We had an amazing time and the service was outstanding and they even gave her a cute little chocolate lava birthday cake!!! They had beautiful decor with all the flower arrangements and the cutest little teacups for our tea! The food was awesome with great flavors, spices, and presentation as well. We had the short rib curry, gyoza, pad Thai, and steak salad! Would definitely go back all the time especially if I lived closer to them.

Enjoyed a late dinner here recently, and it was wonderful. I had worked a long day, so it was great to enjoy a relaxing dinner. I enjoyed the Tofu Fresh Rolls and the Drunken Noodle with Chicken. Look forward to returning.

Had been waiting to come to Charm Thai for a while and the food definitely lived up to the anticipation! The setting is a cute and unassuming home that’s been retrofitted for dining. Very similar to the vibes of the nearby Franks Noodle House. Decor is simple and elegant with flowers adorning the walls and ceiling.
Food was great and they have lots of great options on the menu. We wound up going with the pad see ew and the signature massaman curry. Both dishes were tasty but the curry was definitely the standout with incredibly tender meat! Plating as well was definitely a stand out for what I’d usually expect for Thai food.
Overall great service and will certainly be going back when on the east side.

I recently dined at Charm Thai with a team of 17, and our experience was nothing short of fantastic! They graciously accommodated our large group, filling the entire restaurant, all while managing with just one server. Remarkably, they didn’t miss a beat! The food was authentic and absolutely delicious. I was so impressed that I returned just a few days later for the drunken Thai noodles—they’re to die for! If you’re craving Thai food, Charm Thai is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Came here for lunch for the second time. Really like the taste of Pad Thai. Fast service. Good value for money. Recommend to try. If you have tried Pad Thai at other restaurants, this place is different. Will definitely come back.
