Charlotte Southern Calf on 10th Street is an absolute vibe! The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a beautiful, airy space filled with greenery and personality; it just feels good in here. I ordered the roasted pork baguette with house pickles, cilantro jalapeño slaw, and spicy mayo, and wow… every bite was next-level. The flavors were bold, fresh, and balanced perfectly.

What an amazing find in downtown and close to the airport. My colleague and I both had the she crab soup, roast beef and Italian. It was recommended to try the shio pan which was the perfect addition to the soup. I will be coming back the next time I’m in town for business.

Delicious all around! Probably the best pastrami sandwich I’ve ever eaten. We also had the smoked turkey on wheat which was also delicious. Sides including the potato salad – also top notch. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. I appreciated they kept the lights off and had fans going as a nice respite on a hot day outside. Above and beyond what I was expecting for a business-district lunch spot!

Been meaning to try this place since I live close by and I’m happy I finally did. I got the roasted pork sandwich and it was the perfect level of heat, bread was soft with a nice crust, produce was fresh. Potato salad has a great dill flavor, which is the style I love. Price for the quality of food, especially downtown, is tough to beat. I went in just before the lunch rush so I was in and out with great service. I’ll have to go back soon and try the pastrami or chicken salad next.

I work one block away and somehow never knew Charlottes was so close. I came in today and ordered the half roast beef sandwich and the Caesar salad. The sandwich was hot and delicious and the salad was cool and crisp. The quality of the ingredients is fantastic, the ambience comfy and the staff very friendly! I will be returning here for lunch at a minimum of once weekly.

This was a wonderful lunch spot with super friendly staff and plenty of seating, even during a weekday lunch rush. I had the turkey sandwich, and it was absolutely amazing—big, fresh, and very filling. I added a cucumber salad on the side, which was a smaller portion but packed with great flavor. My husband had the chicken salad and really enjoyed it, and our daughter got a chocolate chip cookie that she devoured with a big smile. Everything felt homemade and full of Southern charm definitely a place we’d go back to!

I placed an online order that was ready quickly but I had to stand in a line of 4-5 people to get to a staff member to retrieve the order. My drink wasn’t with it either so I had to wait until someone came back out for me to try and get their attention. Unfortunately it looks like they only had one staff member up front which makes it hard on them to give the best service possible. The plants were cute but there was a lot of people sitting waiting for orders. Soup was delicious but too much oil for me I couldn’t get it mixed in all the way. Sandwich needed more meat it was small for a total of $16. Only garage parking which was another $5 just to get in and out. Overall good place for lunch if you’re in walking distance or getting delivered.

The only feedback I recommend is a more prominent sign on the outside to make it stand out that this is their location. Maybe the owner could upload a picture of the shop from the outside so customers can quickly locate them.

Pastrami had a nice smoke on it. She-crab soup had a lot of crab but it also had small pieces of shell in it. Solid service.
