We got there just a few minutes before breakfast service was ending, even though they were switching over to lunch they accommodated us for a late breakfast. I had a veggie omelette and the potatoes were on point along with the omelette brimming with fresh veg.

While on the more expensive side, it was worth it for a treat for our family. We absolutely loved that they are so family friendly. The waitresses were so good to our kids. The food was so fresh and homemade. The unsweetened iced tea was so good. Definitely recommend!

Good morning, Kenai! We came here every morning we were in Kenai visiting my cousin. Such… Delicious… Breakfast!!! We had savory and sweet crepes, lots of coffee (espresso and brewed) and smoked salmon. After two days in a row of the salmon Benedict – with a citrus hollandaise – which was the best Benedict I have ever had – I asked if Chef could please make an omelette. HEAVEN!! Keep up the great work!!

Had the mushroom swiss beef dip. The roll was so soft. Amazing sandwich. Had a piece of the coconut cream pie to go. It didn’t make it home. Omg!!! Chocolate bottom and coconut with whipped cream! You have to try it.

I love this place. Every time I come to visit Alaska for a few weeks I come here at least 2-3 times a week. Especially for the breakfast because I cant find any other cafe that serves sourdough pancakes or waffles.
Everything is made from scratch and is fresh when served. From the orange juice to the side dishes. Now the lunch doesnt come short at all. I love the California croissant meal and the hot sub which I took a pic of as well. The customer service is very nice and welcoming. The residents of Kenai Alaska are nice people. The other customers that come in to the cafe will say hello to you.
But overall them sourdough pancakes, waffles, and toast are unique and excellent.

Great environment. Good food. And great pies. I eat here often by myself it’s comfortable. Reasonably priced and they always have some yummy dessert available to take to go. If you want a really good breakfast or lunch charlottes is your place.

I’m not usually one to leave bad reviews, but Charlotte’s has been going downhill for a while now, and after today I feel like it needs to be said. This used to be my spot growing up, but the last several visits have been consistently disappointing.
Today I ordered beans and a side of pasta—both were practically inedible. The beans were hard, runny, and cold (which seems to happen every time now), and the pasta was gritty and tasted more like egg salad than pasta. Paying $17 for food I can’t eat is beyond frustrating.
The service has declined just as much as the food. A warm, welcoming atmosphere used to set Charlotte’s apart, but now kindness and even a simple smile feel like too much to expect.
After five disappointing visits in a row, it’s clear my favorite spot to eat is no longer worth coming back to. Unless things change, Charlotte’s has lost what once made it great.
