I really wanted to like this place. The food was mediocre although the staff is friendly.

If you don’t mind waiting for 30 minutes in line and then getting bad customer service, then this is the place for you! After waiting in line for 30 minutes and paying & tipping for my order, I stood off to the side and waited for another 10 minutes. The wait wasn’t an issue for me and I rarely get upset over food orders. However, the two groups behind me were getting their orders and I still didn’t get mine (two ice cream cones). I already repeated my order 2x to the owner at the window. Upon my 3rd repeat of my order, I expressed my dissatisfaction. I was met with an unapologetic attitude from the owner. When I asked for a refund because it was so ridiculous, the ice cream cones suddenly appeared, but with more attitude from the owner. If this place wasn’t by a rail trail, I don’t see why anyone would go out of their way for generic ice cream and poor service with an attitude. Would never come back again and will be sure to tell others to avoid this place.

Excellent yummy breakfast as well as a lunch and dinner menu. However, I am a huge fan of breakfast all day long lol. This place delivers an amazing omelet and home fry with some delicious, homemade toast! Even though they don’t have homemade hash everything else on their menu makes up for it lol. Love this place!

Took out a haddock dinner. The fish and fries were a little soggy, due to no lids on the tartar sauce. It landed on my food. The taste was good. Perhaps if I had eaten at the restaurant this would not have happened.

Nice place with variety of seating options, friendly staff and a good menu for lunch and breakfast. I went about noon, not too busy. I had some kind of biscuit and gravy scrambled eggs plate, with home fries. Enjoyed it. A man near me had something called triple salad. Scoops of chicken salad, tuna salad, and something else, on a bed of lettuce. Looked good. Service via one waitress. They could have used two.

My wife and i stopped here for ice cream during our bike ride on the rail trail. They give really big scoops and the ice cream is phenomenal! Good amount of ice cream for the price. The location is very convenient too being near the trail. We will probably be back again and try the food.

I like Charlottes, it’s much better than Frannies at the other end of the street. They always get my food right, they SESSION the food, and they are quick and personable. I’ve always had a pleasant experience at Charlotte’s and would highly recommend people come here over that other place whose staff once asked me if I wanted all the food I ordered. This is a better option in my humble opinion.
