I got a chicken steak and the homie got a cheese steak. He said his was bomb. The chicken steak looked like strips of chicken breast, cheese, peppers and onions. We both got fries.
My sandwich had good flavor, bread seemed fresh, fries were pretty good too.
The problem was how long it took to make the sandwiches. This was a big problem! We showed up at 1:15pm and diddnt get our food till 2pm. We considered canceling the order and going somewhere else but figured the food has to be absolutely phenomenal, but it was just good. Good is fine if it takes 15 mins max to cook.
The staff was friendly but there needs to be a restructure with the cooks. Expand the grill, hire another cook, i dont know, figure it out. To wait 45 minutes for lunch when the place diddnt have a line out the door is ridiculous.
Honestly, I wont be back.

Philly boy here. Born and raised. Went to school with will smiths niece. (Only added for the song reference)… For Florida this is good. They would do good in Philly and fit right in. With the vibe, decor, decorations, atmosphere and food you forget you’re not in Philadelphia for a minute or two. The rolls are 7/10 but the meat was 9/10. Loved it. This is the second best cheesesteak place in Sarasota.

I was down in this area for the day while my father was buying a car. I looked for a place to eat somewhere close to the dealership, and decided to pick this place …….not that I was particularly wanting a “philly cheese steak” but that the reviews were good and the food sounded good………
…well Im glad I did! Me and my father ended up getting the footlong special (fries and a drink) and it was seriously one of, if not the best….. cheesesteak me OR MY FATHER have ever had! The steak was juice, moist and tender and the cheese was OH SO gooey and melty..they surely didn’t skimp on the cheese!
The fries were OK, and the drink was a regular fountain drink.
If I were in the area again and was in the mood for this type of food……I’d absolutely stop by again!

This place is what I would call a hidden gem! I’ve had the steak and cheese,a Cuban sandwich & other timesI’ve had things from the breakfast menu. Everything is phenomenal!
The place isn’t very big, so it’s kind of easier to call in and order for takeout.
