I ordered the chicken pot pie soup Reuben and sweet potato fries.
Needless to say I had take out boxes.
We were greeted and seated right away, our server was amazing and the young man clearing the tables and bussing was just as amazing.
My brother and sister in law wanted to take me out for dinner as a treat, visiting them from SA TX. The portions and food was over the top.
I had hot tea with honey, so soothing and refreshing.
The restrooms have a baby changing station, very clean and lots of room to move around.
High chairs for the kiddos and a kids menu.
We had strawberry cheesecake for dessert, excellent.
See the dessert selection when you enter the door.
The booths are wide enough for my 6’2″ brother to sit comfortably and plenty of room for my rolator.

This was our first time here. The atmosphere was comfortable, clean and friendly. Our entrays were very good Our waitress was attentive and quick in serving. We were not offered a bread basket at any time. The New York strip steak was tasty and prepared just right. The rib’s were tasty as well, tender and meaty.

My first time there, I had the pork chops with a baked potato and cabbage soup. First the pork chops lightly breaded, and dry. The seasoning was light also. The baked potato had no butter inside, which made the potato dry, the cheese and bacon bits were ok not what expected. The corn and cabbage soup were over salted. The service was ok even with our party of 10. I don’t mind paying the prices, but I expect the food to be on point. At this point I will not be returning there to eat!! They do have an automatic gratitude tip, that automatically put on your bill, with two peoples it’s 13 percent.

One of my favorite diners that I don’t get to go to that often. Every time I’ve been here it’s been great! I recently went with friends and family for a birthday celebration. UPDATE UPDATE: went back after about 2 years and prices are even higher. $16.25 for a regular size salad, crazy! Gina is there still thankfully! No one else we knew is though, there is ALWAYS a sign out front now that says they need experienced servers that just makes the place look trashy and desperate. It was pretty dead when we were in there and I don’t know why they needed two busboys. With not enough to do the one was trying to grab my perfectly good fork and napkin and after I say what’s up he stops and says oh sorry and I’m like well you already touched it with your nasty glove! The seat we sat at we had to sit way over on because there was giant patches of duct tape that were sticky all over the holes in the seat cushions. UPDATE: We have not been back in some time unfortunately, the prices just went up and was not as good a deal anymore. END UPDATE: Simply the best diner around even more so now that they have a full bar basically. Gina is on point, and her Bloody Mary is on point. Don’t miss out. Had a waffle with a side of bacon and a broccoli with cheese omelette and hash browns that came out exactly how I ordered them.

I apologize but forgot to take a pic of my plate, but I have the carry container. I ordered the fishermans platter which is 2pc perch, 2pc cod, and 4 jumbo shrimp and my two sides were fries and chicken pot pie soup. Soup didn’t have pie crust like most versions do.
Oh yeah my mom asked for a piece of fish. I was full from the shrimp and fries!!
