Caryyout out order we were told ready in 15. When we got there we waited another 22 minutes for our order and there were only 3 tables with people in the restaurant.. No..we’re sorry, no apology. Pretty much, here’s your food. These people are historically surly with absolutely no customer service skills. As if this wasn’t bad enough? The cheeseburger was cold and tasted like it was someone’s forgotten lunch order being served again at 5:30. We have given them several chances thinking, they are short of help or it’s just a bad day. However, a bad day seems to the norm for them. We are done. Too many friendly restaurants to choose from.

I can’t wait to go back here. I had the Mushroom Swiss burger, fries and coleslaw. Yum so delicious. Don’t copy I put my coleslaw on my sandwich and everywhere. I love it and they made it the way I like Everything’s fresh and they are not stingy with the portions. ❤️❤️❤️ Great variety menu of food you can’t find everywhere for the price. I’m coming back for my perch sandwich
Today January 18, I tried the perch dinner and it taste like they refried the perch no flavor. I’d prefer the burger so I gave them four for that.

Ordered breakfast. Eggs over medium, home fries bacon and toast. The eggs were hot, but we’re definitely over light and super runny. The potatoes were warm like they had been sitting out precooked for quite a while. Took them home to the dog. Toast was good and they had a large selection of jellies to choose from, which was nice. Overall a below average experience from this type of restaurant. They have been traditionally known for a really good breakfast, and that was missing today.

Enjoyed the service and will have to try a few more items. We had the Philly Cheese Steak omelet and the chicken fajita omelet that was pretty good but needed tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, chives ect to make it pop on top. 1/2 off selected menu items before 11 AM, which is impressive in today’s day and age.

They really need more server help, at least for breakfast. I saw 2 waitresses for the entire place. 25 min to take my order. Toast and hash browns were barely warm.

BEWARE:
Everything was just ok with atmosphere and food. Server was slow and did not check back after food brought out. We dealt with that, that is what it is. HOWEVER the following is not OK when we got our bill, it had a $0.77 charge labeled “CC FEE”. I assumed this was the service fee if paying with a credit card. When we went to the register to pay, our server asked if we were paying with card even though she saw I had cash in my hand. I told her no. I handed her my $20.00 gift card from their establishment and was paying the remaining $8.00 balance in cash. She got very nasty with me and said “this is a card”. I told her there is no way they can charge the credit card surcharge for the use of their establishments gift card”, that it was illegal and theft. She continued to be nasty, I told her the gift card is like cash, they already got the money for it and if this is how they run their business I won’t be back.” She said she would wave it this time. I don’t know what the owner of this establishment is pulling but it’s wrong. I have researched this today and it appears to be illegal to charge a credit card surcharge on portions paid by a gift card and/or cash, I will be filing a compaint with the State of Ohio Attorney General office and Federal Trade Commission tomorrow. Avoid this establishment!

Extensive menu! Anyone could find something they like. Portion are very large. Service was excellent, Debbie was great with the kids. Atmosphere was relaxed. We’ll be back to try more!

Classic old style diner, but with ethnic foods added in to create the perfect combination for breakfast, lunch or dinner
They have large rooms for gathering. If you need to have a little reunion of some sort, they definitely will acommodate.
