Charlie’s pizza was started in the 1950’s and continues a 70 year old traditional pizza recipe. Pizza’s are prepared individually and bake for 25 minutes creating a very unique pizza experience. Do not mistake Charlie’s for a fast food pizza place. It is a restaurant that chooses quality over quantity. Expect similar wait times as all other busy sit down restaurants and an average of $12-15 per adult. If you have time and want quality we are the place for you!

Pizza is delicious & we’ve come here several times for it. Ordered carry-out & over the phone we asked for pepperonis under the cheese, which they said they could do. The receipt even said ‘Pep under cheese’ but it didn’t come out that way. That was disappointing, especially for the price.. They have done this request for us before without issue
**Edit! Charlie’s Pizza made up for this big time! My husband ordered another pizza the same way & it was done just as ordered but he was provided a beer, no charge, while waiting for the pizza! The pizza was perfect, of course! & also no charge. Thanks sooo much for making this up to us! See ya next time!!

We went on a Saturday night (6pm) got seated right away on a big booth (fits 6 people comfortably). Bathrooms and carpet were clean (no crumbs), service was good. I LOVE the Judy Garland pizza. The crust is so good. Would definitely come back. Plus they had mint chocolates! The only thing that made me sad was the lonely piranha in the aquarium by the entrance. It’s a fish that thrives in a group. Please get more fish

The pizza was underdone and very soggy and limp. There was pooled liquid going halfway up the pizza from the center. Both styles had no definitive flavor either. Their garlic bread was completely flavorless and barely toasted.
Server was nice at least.
Overall I personally would never eat here again.

We went to Charlie’s Pizza – Sioux Falls for the first time with my family, parents, and Grandma.
Delicious pizza!! Loved the variety of specialty pizzas. You can order half and half of their specialty pizzas if you want to switch it up. I enjoyed everything but I will say the pepperoni/sausage with alfredo sauce and the Humphrey Bogart were what I enjoyed most.
I reached out via fb messenger the day before to ask about precautions for our daughter with Celiac. Evan said he would be the manager on that evening and to ask for him when we arrived so he could oversee our daughter’s pizza and make sure all precautions were taken to avoid contamination. It warms my heart when we can add a new place to our list that we can trust. Kayla–our waitress– was just as wonderful! She was always a step or two ahead of us with napkins, refills, etc. Plus she was just a genuinely nice person and patient with our group of 7 while trying to put together our pizza order!
If this makes it’s way back to the staff- thanks for the great experience! We had a great time and our family will definitely be back.

We ordered 14 wings and a 12″ The Works. Beers were served cold, food nice and hot, everything was really good from the wait time, the atmosphere, not too loud and not crowded. I don’t know if that would be the case on a Friday or Saturday night but I would be willing to come back.

First time at Charlie’s in Sioux Falls. I have been to Charlie’s in Yankton and the Sioux Falls Pizzeria does not disappoint. Ordered a pepperoni, sausage and onion. Love the crust. Not too crunchy and not too soft and chewy. The perfect balance. The sauce is tasty with zest. No spirits but beer and wine. Also a coke account. The way it should be with pizza.

This place has amazing pizza. Crispy, where you want it. I’m a sauce man, and this sauce is on par! The only reason this place gets 4 stars is because the wings were not crispy on the outside. I’m just as upset as everyone else. If you haven’t given this place a go, it may be the time.

The pizza here was delicious. We ordered two different types and both were great. The service and location are great. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of seating. Every pizza that came out looked delicious. The specialty large pizzas are more than $30, so not a budget option, but a great place to get good pizza in Sioux Falls!
