not sure what happened with the place but the service and food quality aswell has gone downhill over the last year to the point the foods barely edible, youre told 30 minutes on the phone and get cold food an hr later. it takes 25 minutes to make a small pizza, there is no reason i should be waiting an hr for COLD FOOD. i used to order here daily, but the rude staff who answer the phone then put you on hold for 10 mins to gossip with their co workers ( i watched them do it while in the store a few differnet times ) and TERRIBLE food quality and service has made me a once a month IF that customer and after today, with the way they answered the phone , spoke to me on the phone, and my 1 hour wait for a small COLD pizza for more money then most places . i will never order from here again, i live not even 10 mins away by car . you have no excuse to be making people wait an hr and serving ice cold food thats as hard as a hockey puck. i dont care if you dont want to do it because i live close, my grandfather who i order for is elderly and disabled , show some curtesy.

Just moved out here and the food places have been terrible. I tried Charlie’s today and not only is it affordable but the food was amazing & the service was even better . Only had $100 bill and they brought changed no problem . Driver so super friendly . My new favorite spot .

Don’t tell people 10-15 minutes and then take 30 minutes to cook a calzone. If I had been on a 30 minute lunch break, like most people are, I would have had zero time to eat and been late. Terrible service. Also, the New Bedford disease of permanently locked bathrooms is in effect here. Dumb design on the windows as well.

Was in town visiting a friend and read the great reviews about Charlies and decided to try them out for lunch. I’m so glad I did! They made me one of the best steak bombs I’ve ever had and the bacon cheese fries (with real peices of bacon, not that stuff from a package) were also delicious! Great prices too! I will definitely eat here again when I’m in town. The donut place next door is great too!

Charlie’s has been around most of my adult life, and with good reason. Excellent food and reasonable prices. Call ahead for faster service. Personally, I can’t get enough of that steak and cheese sub, Cheeseburger sub is awesome too, wing dings, quesadillas,onion rings, and fries are all my consistent favorites. Get your pizza hot and watch that mozzarella stretch!

Favorite pizza in town! Born and raised in NB and it took me 3 decades to realize what good pizza tasted like. When a similar family style pizza shop opened up in the neighborhood, I also left a great review although they never seem EVER be open. It led me to order from this gem one night, and I haven’t been elsewhere every since. Something about sliced, crisp linguiça melting into gooey cheese just makes it so special. Not to mention the technique they use to make the crust as it’s cooking. Don’t overlook this spot just driving by the neighborhood as I did for years. Make that call, stop by…just place that order you won’t regret it. Anything from the wing dingz, steak and cheese subs, fries – it’s just all good. Try it for yourself. If you want a laid back, no frills eat in or take out spot for good pizza this is it.
