Went here with for wife’s birthday dinner with kids and was impressed from the moment we entered the restaurant! We were greeted by the receptionist with a Birthday Card for my wife, nice touch! The interior space was as nice as any high end NYC restaurant. Our sever was engaging and knowledgeable about the dishes we were considering! A couple of questions he wasn’t sure about he went to see the chef and came back with the answer. I had the burger and I have to saw the quality of the meat was made it one of the best burgers I’ve EVER had.

We recently had the most INCREDIBLE experience at Charlie’s of Lincroft. From the moment we arrived to check out the location until the moment we left, everything was absolutely amazing. We decided to have our wedding in the wine room, and it turned out to be the perfect choice for our intimate ceremony. The room felt so cozy and romantic, creating a beautiful atmosphere for our special day.

LOUD but GREAT food. Best Parmesan risotto I’ve had in some time .. creamy and smoothly… the halibut has a crispness to the outside and soft flake to the inside .. the octopus and Brussel sprouts ans Parmesan fries are a MUST!!

It was our first time going with high expectations based off the reviews and atmosphere. We got the calamari, the soppressata pizza and they were okay but nothing that wowed us. For entrees we had a Charlie’s burger, rigatoni gnocchi and NY steak with chimichurri that we’re all okay but once again nothing special that makes us want to come back. The service was great but overall would not come back. You can find better Italian food/steakhouse restaurant a little up north.

Ambiance was very nice and desserts were tasty. However, burgers came out with the wrong temperature and the steaks were way overpriced. Not to mention when we had reservations, hostess stated that customers could not be seated until 4:30pm as they had a team meeting in the main dining room. Customers had to wait around to be seated when they arrived and it did not look professional. This is not acceptable as there are plenty of other rooms in the establishment to hold a meeting and they should do it at an earlier time. There are definitely some adjustments that are needed at Charlie’s.

I had my husband’s 60th birthday party here. Their wine room is beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was second to none. The wait staff was very attentive to not only the birthday boy, but to everyone else. Corey, our event planner was so easy to work with and did not over sell us on anything. We had the perfect amount of food (butler service and appetizer trays) and everyone loved the menu that we set. I can say enough good things about Charlie’s of Lincroft. Already thinking what else we can celebrate there.

This place is beautiful! Truly what our community needed. The service was excellent, food was delicious, and ambience was charming. We had the NY strip, spinach and Brussel sprouts. The strip was delicious. The sprouts were a bit on the salty side, I will request no salt next time.

Beautiful venue & excellent service. However; the ” polenta ” served with the pork chop ( delicious ) was in reality a risotto with too much cheese in it making it too mushy. The red snapper ” milanese” in reality was deep fried & over floured. They need to adjust the menu descriptions for they are misleading. This was our 3 rd visit & we are willing to give it another try. Would love to come back & enjoy a fireside .
