We shared the combination fajitas and it was pretty good! They have beer and a full bar. Very friendly staff. Our waitress was so pleasant and checked on us to make sure we didn’t want for anything. Would definitely recommend and go back.

Overall it was a good experience. The food was good, service was average. Had to flag down the waitress just a few times, but they were busy, so I get it. Had the Chili Verde plate, chips and salsa, bean dip. Chili Verde had excellent flavor, salsa was outstanding, chips were a little stale, and the bean dip was average. Interesting decor, welcoming and comfortable ambiance, and they had live music that night. I’d go back.

I’ve been going to Charlie’s for the last 40 years. It continues to be the best Mexican food in Kansas. I absolutely love it! My favorite is the Mexican Plate.

We asked for 2 extra plates to split up the kids ‘ meal and one of the plates was SO dirty. My water glass had a weird taste and my fajita wasn’t steak, it was some sort of fake meat. So disappointed and will not go back.

Food was delicious (Salsa for chips a little on the watery side ) Still Good Food at Good Price.. Service on other hand..not so good. Not very many people in there, plenty of employees but still took almost 40 mins to get food.

Charlies is one of those small town staples that you cannot do without. The staff and the food is amazing, the only dish I have had there that I havent liked is the shrimp fajitas.
