Holy moly! This place is delicious! I consider myself to be a burger snob. These burgers are homemade and you can get them cooked to the temp that you want. My daughter ordered the triple triple Burger. She was not disappointed! They have a challenge where you can see how fast you can eat the triple challenge along with a milkshake and soda You can win a T-shirt. The onion rings were so delicious! Largest onion rings ever! They have homemade ice cream, but we are too stuffed to get some today. This is definitely one of my top faves. I think we’ll stop here again before we leave the area.

We’ve been here a few times, as we live close by. This last time we met the owner, and had a lovely conversation. She was warm, and very welcoming. The burgers are, in a phrase, top notch! These are not frozen patties popped onto a grill. You really feel as if they were prepared by an aunty in her kitchen. High quality burgers, and THICK! I enjoyed the Philly cheese-chicken Sammy. It was amazing, with a great mouth feel and flavor that made you think of walking down a sidewalk on a chilly afternoon, noshing on a huge sandwich. Balanced, and seasoned well. I got a side order of Tots, and it was almost too much for me to finish. Their ice-cream is incredible, with enough flavors to satisfy the pickiest of eaters. I loved the Carmel pretzel and get it almost every time me. This place is a little gem, and I they get the highest of recommendations. Just make sure your appetite is engaged… you’ll put it to bed after the meal!

Great little place for freshly made burgers and homemade ice cream! Has a Mom and Pop feel inside. And the three young adults that were on duty today were all awesome! They were polite, they smiled easily, they did their jobs well, and kept a clean place. The burger was fresh and I would order it again. Now comes the ice cream: we ordered three different flavors. The killer chocolate was just that and by far my favorite because it was dense, decadent, and absolutely deliciously dark!! Next in line was the raspberry chocolate chunk. It was fine, okay. A bit fluffier than the killer chocolate, but nice as is. Now the salted caramel is another story. I’ve had salted caramel before and it’s been lovely. Sadly, though, this one decided to incorporate pretzel bits. Add pretzel bits and ice cream just do not mix because it makes the pretzel soggy. ☹️ Not a good combination. But the burger and killer chocolate I would come back for in a heartbeat!

We got a kids grilled cheese, nuggets, and hot dog, as well as adult burger and chicken sandwich. All the food was great. The onion rings and fries sides were super good (curly fries were only ok). The ice cream was good too! (Got a chocolate shake, strawberry shake, and Superman cone)
If we’re coming through town again, we’ll definitely be back!

Two customers in front of us, both only ordering ice cream. Took us 45 minutes to get two burgers. Now I know why everyone who came after us was ordering hotdogs, as we saw about 4 of those come out before our burgers. Both burgers were basically cooked to a brick-like puck. I’m assuming no one showed the kids how to cook a burger. It really wasn’t busy for a Friday night around 6:30.
The ice cream is ok. Handel’s is much better.

We had a great time here. The food was delicious, everything was fresh and hit the spot. You can tell they use quality ingredients. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. Definitely recommend stopping by for a satisfying meal and a treat.

Charlie’s is a business that thrives on the idea that simple is better, and every aspect of dinner there with my family, while not overwhelming or surprising, was wonderful and tasty.
The burgers were not elaborate and smaller than many places, but tasted great, and the bacon was crisp and fresh. The fries were crunchy but not overdone, and the ice cream was very delicious.
While prices were a little higher than I suspected and the fries were a bit too large, most would be happy to get a lot of fries.
All in all I think it was perfect for my mother and son, as they love the simple stuff. Though not complex, what you order is what you get and it’s worth the visit to try.

We weren’t sure it was open at first. We were not greeted and had to tell the young man several times what we wanted to order and one sandwich came out wrong and one was undercooked beef. Seasoned fries were hot and excellent. Grilled cheese also good. Cook finally redid one burger after defending it’s undercooked, bloody state. Ice cream very good, even though salted caramel pretzel was overly soft. Staff not customer-oriented. Floor could use a good scrubbing. Restroom deplorable.

On a cold, rainy day, there is nothing better than their grilled cheese and a bowl of tomato bisque . It’s pure comfort food heaven. Also, you have to try the onion rings, they’re massive, hand cut, and so perfectly crunchy and seasoned.

Wonderful place to take the family to get some ice cream. It’s all homemade which I feel sets them apart from other places. We tried the mocha chip and it was fantastic. We also had the moose tracks as well as cookies and cream which was great as well.
