What a wonderful establishment. The food is amazing, and the owners are beyond awesome. This was my first time here and was very pleased. Great atmosphere, and everyone was so friendly. Soooo good. Perfect catfish..crisp, meaty and hot. Enjoyed sides and took homemade chocolate cake to go. Serves burgers, hotdogs and more…plus homecooked meats and veggies. Owners and staff very pleasant. Off the highway just a ways but so worth the trip. Please support this family restaurant.

The food was truly delicious, but unfortunately, the service was disappointing, which significantly impacted our overall experience. We placed a large order over the phone, spending over $300, but several issues arose that made our experience far from satisfactory.
1. Missing Items: Our order was incomplete. Despite paying for all of the food, we didn’t receive our string beans, and when we asked about it, the response was dismissive. Additionally, we didn’t receive the correct amount of drinks we ordered. The lemonade and tea were served only half full, as though some had already been taken from the jug before being served to us.
2. Poor Customer Service: When we called to address the missing items, the person on the phone (who I believe was named Ruth) was unhelpful and had a negative attitude. I was hoping for a solution, especially given the inconvenience and the amount we had paid, but the response was frustrating. We were told the missing items would be delivered, but the lack of acknowledgment for the overall poor service was disheartening.
3. Pricing Issues: The price we were quoted over the phone was changed once we arrived, resulting in us paying more than initially discussed. This lack of consistency was frustrating and seemed unprofessional.
While Ruth did drive out to deliver the missing barbecue, the overall experience left a sour taste. The food was amazing, but the service and communication issues make it hard to recommend this place, especially for large events. It’s disappointing because we were hoping to build a long-term business relationship with them, but after this experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere.
I hope the restaurant takes these issues seriously, as with proper customer service, they could be much more successful.

Today was my last time coming to this restaurant. I walked in to order food and was waiting to order after a few minutes another customer walken in and was immediately waited on after she took his order she then walked to the other end of the counter and started talking to the gentleman that was paying for his food leaving me still standing there waiting to order. The food is decent and I have been eating there 3 times a week for the last 5 months but today the service I got let me know they don’t need my money and I will take my lunch else where
