Horrible experience. The lady working at the check out might be racist. I saw her giving warm welcome to the person in front of me, and didn’t say even hi to me after I said hello, never said thank you or you are welcome after I did. And skip right to the next person being all warm and friendly while I’m still signing my receipt. Maybe not racist just have some against me personally that day or something. The food is over priced and not very good. Parking is also kind of a nightmare.

I went here a bunch during my stay in Manchester. I got vanilla lattes every time. Some times they were a hit, other times a miss. Their muffins, sandwiches, and croissants were great! The employees were also a hit or miss. Sometimes very nice, but sometimes they seemed annoyed I was there. I loved that it was dog friendly and even had treats and dog bandanas for purchase!

Stopped by for breakfast. Their pastries were delicious; latte and iced coffee were good, not the best, but good all the same. Plan to visit for lunch as their sandwich menu looked amazing!

We love Charlie’s. Over time this has become our favorite breakfast and lunch place. Wonderful space, good fresh food, and great porch. Good specialty coffees and great pastries made in house. Being dog friendly counts is in, too.

The space is nice. The food is not very good and not that many items are made on site. 99% of the baked goods are pre made and frozen (I work in a restaurant and recognize the desserts) and lastly the customer service is beyond awful. I understand having a bad day, but everyday? As I said, I work in a restaurant so understand dealing with people can be exhausting and mentally trying but this is attitude on a whole new level. I would recommend going across the street to the book store or even better Dina’s Bakery, who actually bakes all of her goods.

This is a nice little spot. The food is great, there’s plenty of space, and convenient parking. The only caveat is how long the wait is to order and receive the food. I’ve also experienced some mix-ups and forgotten items with some of my orders. It seems that the staff is often distracted. Otherwise, if you’re willing to be patient, the place is great for a bite with some friends.

Food was okay, nothing special, but our choices were limited to what was pre-made as they closed the kitchen early. However $41.00 for a tuna sandwich, a veggie wrap, a small coffee and a cookie seems outrageous. I thought I must have misheard, but when I counted my change while we were eating, sure enough it was $41.00. Since the server repeated back the order, I know they didn’t add anything we didn’t order.

I don’t like to give such a poor rating for a coffee and deli place, but we were so excited for this place, given the reviews and recommendations. We came from across country and out of state, specifically for Manchester and their niche cafes.
