I stopped by Charlie’s Chicken today and had a great experience from start to finish.
The food was terrific. Everything tasted fresh, hot, and exactly how Charlie’s Chicken should be. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, the sides were well prepared, and the portion sizes were solid. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.
What really stood out was the customer service. The manager Chance and General Manager Alisha were both extremely friendly and welcoming. They made sure everything was running smoothly and created a positive atmosphere in the restaurant. It’s always nice to see management actively involved and treating customers well.
If you’re in the Broken Arrow area and want good comfort food with great service, this location is definitely worth the stop. I’ll absolutely be coming back.

I’ve eaten at many Charlie locations. This by far delivered the worst customer service, staff played too much rather than work, and were super loud using foul language. I was embarrassed for them. The adults working had no control over the employee teenagers. This night crew (about 7:15 pm) needs retraining. Let me be clear, the employees were not rude or unkind but I could not enjoy my meal in peace. I ate fast and left. I definitely will not be back to this location.
To boot, the tables were sticky. The cashier had no clue what the meals included. For example, he could not tell me what was in the Homemade Dressing Dinner and had to ask someone in the back kitchen. Oh boy. Houston…we have a problem!
On the other hand, the food was acceptable, not great, just sufficiently warm and a bit fresh. That is to say, I’ve had better.
I also don’t like they do not have the buffet style presentation at the front counter. I like to see just how fresh the food looks.

What I ordered. 3 piece chunk dinner,mashed potatoes and gravy; extra gravy, broccoli grape salad and half and half ice tea. What I got: 3piece chunk chicken, mashed potatoes no gravy, broccoli rice casserole, Broccoli grape salad that had no grapes, extra container of mashed potatos with gravey, extra gravy, baked beans, a roll that was hard as a rock and unsweetened tea. I order from here a lot so was surprised of such a big mix up

Just another place that can’t get a simple order right. Ordered 3 piece chunk meal. Sounds easy right? Well I guess in today’s restaurant workforce nothing is simple. Order was completely wrong. How do you get a 3 chunk meal wrong other than laziness or incompetence?
Wish I could find a single restaurant other than chic fila where you don’t have to double check your order before driving away.

I haven’t eaten ar Charlie’s for awhile, but decided to give them another try since they are the closest chicken restaurant from where I live. I ordered the two piece white meat dinner, and was surprised and disappointed that I received 2 wings; especially with the dinner being more expensive than the mixed. But adding to the disappointment, the wings were extremely dry. The sides were fine, but the chicken is the staple and it failed. Charlie’s may be closer, but I think, in the future, I will make the drive to all the chicken choices at 71st and Lynn Lane.

Biiig fan of Charlie’s Chicken! I know if I want some fresh chicken with good flavor, this is the place to be. I enjoy how each day there is a different featured item to choose from as well! Wednesday’s are my favorite because of their Chicken & Dumplings The Chicken Chunks are one of my favorites too! (Both pictured below with Mac & Cheese and Fried Corn Dodgers)

I tend to spend too much when I go here. I do genuinely enjoy the food, though. My only real complaints are that the condiments are all packet based now (except for the gravy).

WHEN CHARLIES FOOD IS FRESH ITS MY FAVORITE CHICKEN PLACE. Food was awful today and I’m not one to leave reviews. Chicken wasn’t fresh. Had more bread than chicken on the chunks and the chicken was like eating jerky. Mac and cheese had a clay like texture to it. I’m guessing it was two days old? Pretty expensive for some cafeteria food!
